Conclusion

The hypothesis was that the heat will eliminate the cold water and stay the same. The hypothesis was disproved because it the heat did not eliminate the cold water.The purpose was to find out how energy is transferred.The starting temperature was 20.6 degrees. The mixed temperature for 50 mL was 46.5 degrees, 60 mL 64.4 degrees, 70 mL was 62.5 degrees, 80 mL and 69.8 degrees and when we filled it up to 90 degrees and the temperature was 67.5 degrees.
