General

Type YH slurry pumps are heavy duty pumps, these pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps. They are designed for handling abrasive, high density slurries in the metallurgical, mining, coal, power plant, etc.

There are two constructions designing, including metal liner and rubber liner. The details are listed as follows:

Metal liner


The frame plates for YH slurry pumps such as interchangeable, hard metal or pressure moulded elastomer liners. The impellers are made of hard metal or pressure moulded elastomer liners.

The shaft seals for type YH pumps may be adoptable of kinds of sealing systems including expeller seal, packing seal, mechanical seal and some combined seals. The details of seal are listed as follows:

Expeller seal

The impeller and expeller install in series to produce Pressure seal, packing or lip sealing ring as shut down seal.


Gland seal

The routine sealing systems are suitable for various conditions and can be used in the corrosion or high temperature conditions such as polytetrafluoroethylene packing, graphite packing etc. It also can be used in strong abrasive condition duty with shaft ceramic sleeve of spray weld.

Mechnical seal

This sealing technique without sealing leakage, integrating construction, convenient installation&replacement, various constructions suit for all kinds of conditions. High hardness ceramic and alloy are adopted for material of friction parts. Design&matching of mechanical seal&sealing box is suitable for fluid state, It possesses high abrasive resistance&shake proof to guarantee that sealing effect can be satisfied by customers in various conditions.
