Mikvah Construction Update The renovation of the Riverdale Mikvah is underway. Please keep in

mind that construction sites are potentially hazardous and that the

safety fences around the property are there for our safety and the

safety of our children. The Bayit's driveway access will be impacted

for 2 months. Please use care when visiting the Bayit by car. Most

importantly, please ensure that children do not attempt to climb the

fences or otherwise attempt to access the construction area.

A Message From The Riverdale Mikvah

For the duration of the construction project, only two shower

preparation rooms at the Mikvah will be accessible. While we hope

that there will be no change in the current hours of operation, we

recommend that you call ahead to the Mikvah (718-549-8336) to see

if there is any wait time for a room. We would also like to remind

you that parking is now limited. Thank you for your patience while

we are under construction.

AIPAC’S POLICY CONFERENCE 2016: Those who attended the Bayit's first Yom Yerushalayim Yom Iyun on

Sunday, May 17 were privileged to hear from AIPAC’s Northeast Political Director, Dr. Sharon Goldman. We hope you were

inspired by her words – Dr. Goldman spoke passionately about the importance of being actively involved in reaching out to your

members of Congress about the US-Israel relationship. Each March, HIR members join the pro-Israel community at AIPAC’s Policy

Conference in Washington, DC to show our support of the US-Israel alliance. Policy Conference is arguably the most important

conference in the Jewish world; over 16,000 activists come together in Washington to lobby for a safe and secure Israel. The

conference includes exhibitions of groundbreaking Israeli innovations that are saving American lives; keynote speeches by top

leaders from both the United States and Israel; emotional and inspiring moments; and smaller

educational sessions. Please join us on March 20-22, 2016 in what will be the largest HIR

delegation to Policy Conference to date. You can register at www.policyconference.org or

contact Sarah Walsh at [email protected] or 917-210-6329 for more information.
