This 8-colour wide format perfecting press is the � rst of its kind in South Africa. The XL106-8P can print up to 8 colours plus � ood aqueous coat in a single pass, ensuring high productivity. The XL 106 can also be con� gured to print on both sides of a press sheet simultaneously in perfecting mode.

MAKEREADY & INSPECTION CONTROL The XL106 features central digital press control allowing the operator to have

the press up to colour in minutes. Heidelberg’s closed loop colour measurement system is fully integrated with prepress and utilizes 2 inline spectrophotometers to inspect every single sheet produced on the press. The automated early warn-ing system utilizes optical scanners mounted along the sheet delivery to ensure the maximum possible security in the printing process – at any speed. This puts an end to costly manual quality assurance measures or expensive reprinting of the whole run due to minor printing errors.

HIGH SPEED PRINT The XL106 o� ers high precision at up to 15,000 sheets per hour whether in

single sided or perfecting mode and supports a broad spectrum of printing stock running at high speeds while delivering exceptional register accuracy.

COLOUR BRlLLIANCE The innovative Hycolor™ inking and dampening system sets new standards in

AQUEOUS COATER The XL106 - 8 colour and coater also features an Aqueous Coater designed
