HEIDI S. PARKER, MA Whether working with Head Start families, victims of partner violence, business development, college students or Nevadans needing immunizations, I am dedicated to affecting positive outcomes and addressing community needs through my extensive background in nonprofit program management, building collaborative partnerships and marketing for social change. PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE IMMUNIZE NEVADA Executive Director (NV), 2012 - present NORTHERN NEVADA IMMUNIZATION COALITION (NNIC) Executive Director (Reno, NV), 2009-2012 NEVADA IMMUNIZATION COALITION Statewide Project Manager (Reno, NV), 2007-2009 Oversaw and engaged a diverse coalition of staff, volunteers, funders, public health and corporate stakeholders passionate about vaccines and access to preventive health care across Nevada's rural, urban and frontier communities. Developed a long-standing regional coalition into a statewide 501 c3 nonprofit. Built organizational capacity by increasing financial support and expanding staff positions by 200%. Successfully planned and implemented new projects including a pilot text4baby immunization module, school-located vaccination clinic billing, HPV education, lnFLUence Others influenza outreach, and Vaccinate Nevada week. In 2012, guided an organizational merger that achieved substantial growth and reduced duplication between NNIC and Immunize Nevada, and in 2014, executed consolidation with the Southern Nevada Immunization and Health Coalition (SNIHC) . Tracked, invoiced and reported results on multiple state and federal project grants, private foundation and other funding totaling close to $1,000,000 annually. UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA,RENO: SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY HEALTH SCIENCES Lecturer, CHS 310: Health Communication, 2011-2013 Internship Preceptor, 2012-present Instructed, engaged and evaluated undergraduate students on topics such as hea lth literacy, social marketing, patient interviewing, social determinants of health, health campaign planning and evaluation, etc. Supervised Field Study undergraduate and MPH candidate graduate students. CENTER FOR HOPE AND SAFETY Youth Services Coordinator (Salem, OR), 1997-2000 Guided support services for teens and children living in emergency shelter. Facilitated a community-wide adopt a family holiday program. Trained community members, colleagues and volunteers on the issues of violence against women. Served on the Marion County Child Abuse Review Team.
