Create a Content PageChoose a Page Name for your new content page Be sure to use familiar, straight-forward language that people might use when searching on Google or any major search engine. This increases SEO and the likelihood that people will be able to find your site. Also, keep the page name short so it fits nicely into your navigation and is easy to scan when looking at the page.

Select the “Content Page” template from the “Select A Template” dropdown list

Select a location for your new page from the “Select Page Location” dropdown list

Click “Add Page” button to add the new content page to your website

Create a Search PageChoose a Page Name for your new search page Use a name that accurately describes what search results will appear. For example, rather than create a search page called “Fabulous New Properties,” name the page “Charlotte Luxury Homes” or “Lake Norman Condos.” By providing targeted, specific searches, you help your customers find properties much faster.

Select the “Search Page” template from the “Select A Template” dropdown list

Select a location for your new page from the “Select Page Location” dropdown list

On the next screen, define all search criteria relating to the new search page you want to show using the advanced search form

Click the “Save This Search” button to add the new search page to your website

Create a navigation link to another pageChoose a Page Name for the link as you want it to appear in the navigation You can link to external pages (e.g. www.localwebsite.com) or an internal page that already exists on your website (e.g. link to the “Relocation” page from the “Sell A Home” sub navigation).

Select the “Link To Another Page” template from the “Select A Template” dropdown list

Select a location for your new navigation link from the “Select Page Location” dropdown list

Click “Add Page” button to add the new link to your website navigation

On the next screen, specify whether the hyperlink will go to an external page or an existing page that is already on your website

Click “Create Link” button to create the new navigation item

At any time, through the Customize My Site section of admin, you can edit the link and its properties by clicking on “Edit Page” for the new link you’ve created

Edit existing content on a pageClick on “Edit Page” for the page you want to edit the content

On the next screen, click on “Edit Content Page”

Click “Ok” on error message (if one appears) If you are editing a page supplied via the Helen Adams Realty corporate site for the first time, you will receive an error message. By changing any of the content on the page including text, images or formatting, you will not receive updates made to that same page on your website when it is updated on the corporate site. If you want to keep updated corporate content, it is better to create a new page with your specific content. If, however, you accept automatic content updates to stop on this page, click “Ok” on the error pop-up.

To view changes or see how the final page will look, click “Preview”

When all changes and editing are complete, click the “Save” button If you do not click the save button before leaving the page editing screen, your changes will be lost.

Insert an image into a pageInsert your cursor where you would like the image to appear on the page

Click on the icon for “Insert/Upload Images” in the toolbar

A pop-up window will appear displaying all of the images you have available to insert Click on the image you would like to insert, then click on the “Insert” button. When you have finished inserting images, close the pop-up window.

If the image you want to insert is not available in the pop-up window, click on “Upload Image”.

Give the image a descriptive name and then click on the “Browse” button. Navigate to the image on your computer, select it, then click on “Open”. Click on the “Upload” button to upload the image to your image library where you can then insert it onto the page.

When all changes and editing are complete, click the “Save” button If you do not click the save button before leaving the page editing screen, your changes will be lost.

Insert a file into a pageInsert your cursor where you would like the link to the file to appear on the page

Click on the icon for “Insert/Upload Files” in the toolbar

A pop-up window will appear displaying all of the files you have available to insert Find the file you would like to insert, then click on the “Insert” link for that file. When you have finished inserting files, close the pop-up window.

Insert a link into a pageInsert your cursor where you would like the link (also called a hyperlink) to appear on the page

Click on the icon for “Insert/Edit Hyperlink” in the toolbar

A pop-up window will appear displaying options for describing and previewing your external link 1. Enter the link text 2. Enter text in the “Screen tip” box if you want a message to appear when hovering over the link This is a courtesy for your customers and will let them know where the link will take them. 3. Enter the URL (website address) for where you want the link to go

Set the link to open in a “New Window” from the “Open in” dropdown menu

Preview where your link will go You can preview where your link will go and make sure the link works correctly by clicking the “Load Preview” link or “Preview in new window” link.

Click the “Insert” button to insert the hyperlink into your page

When all insertions, changes and editing are complete, click the “Save” button If you do not click the save button before leaving the page editing screen, your changes will be lost.

Insert content from a Microsoft Word document into a pageInsert your cursor where you would like the new content to appear on the page

Click on the icon for “Paste From External Source” in the toolbar

A pop-up window will appear with a large space where you will paste the content from a Microsoft Word document or other text source

Open the Microsoft Word document and copy the content you want to insert into the page

In the admin pop-up window, place your cursor in the box and paste the content in the white box by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + v on Windows or Command + v on Mac

Click the “Insert” button to insert the Word content into your webpage

When all insertions, changes and editing are complete, click the “Save” button

Clear overridesOverrides include changes, edits, additions or deletions you make to any content or pages provided automati-

cally from the Helen Adams corporate site. Once you change Helen Adams corporate pages or navigation, or

add your own pages, you are able to clear these “overrides” later if you no longer want to use your custom

content/changes. By clearing overrides, all content and edits to the affected pages will be lost. Clearing overrides

cannot be undone.

To clear overrides on individual pagesClick on “Edit Page” for the page you would like to revert to match the corporate version

Click on “Restore”

To clear overrides on all subpages in a particular sectionClick on “Edit Page” for the page you would like to revert to match the corporate version

To clear overrides on your entire websiteClick on “Clear Overrides” at the bottom of the Customize My Site section of Admin If you would like to clear your overrides, you may use the “Clear Overrides” link. Please be aware that doing so will cause all of the changes you have made to be destroyed, and your Helen Adams Realtor ReBrandable Website will use the same navigation and pages as the Helen Adams corporate website.
