The Orchestra lesson for today is Gold Violin, 3rd period.

Today, December 20th, students and faculty are invited to get into the holiday spirit with a

morning concert featuring Blue Band and Blue Chorus at 9:15 am and featuring Gold Band and

Gold Chorus at 10:15 am. Homeroom teachers should bring their students to the assembly, with

the intention of starting at either 9:15 for Blue House or 10:15 for Gold House.

To all performers, please listen carefully for your directions:

All Blue Band and Blue Chorus should report to the gym at 9:00 am. This will give you a few

minutes to prepare your instrument and find your performance spot. You will be dismissed back

to homeroom at 9:45 am.

All Gold Band and Gold Chorus should report to the gym at 10:00 am. This will give you a few

minutes to prepare your instrument and find your performance spot. You will be dismissed back

to homeroom at 10:45 am.

Performers should see Mr. Raines or Mrs. Weiss with questions.

There will be no Newspaper Club today, December 20th. Newspaper Club will resume on

Tuesday, January 3rd. Have a great winter break!

There will be NO Origami club today, December 20th. Please go home on the bus. We will meet

again on January 3rd in B316.

Attention Dance Club: Practice this Thursday is canceled. We will have our first practice for the

new year on January 5th for ALL squads. Please pick up a revised dance schedule in Mrs.

Seybert’s Room- B121.

Writing Club will be canceled next Thursday, December 22nd.

Remember that the school store opened yesterday. It will be open during Advisory on Mondays

and Wednesdays for the rest of the year. You must have a pass and money to visit the school

store. Make sure to check in to your homeroom before shopping!

Attention all aspiring actors! Drama club is set to begin on Tuesday, January 17th. Please stop

by Mrs. Leister’s room, A137, to pick up your permission slip. The club will run on Tuesdays

from 3:30-4:30 through May. All slips must be in by Monday, January 9th.

The following Marsh Creek Band students were selected to be a member of PMEA District 12

Chester County Bandfest! They will represent our school March 14th, 2017 at Peirce Middle

School in West Chester.

December 19th.

The school store opens today! It is located near the center staircase on the 3rd floor. It will be

open during Advisory on Mondays and Wednesdays for the rest of the year. You must have a

pass and money to visit the school store. Make sure to check in to your homeroom before

their alternate lesson today or see Mr. Raines for an alternative. 7th period percussion lessons today

have been cancelled.

All Gold Band students will be called at 2:53 today for their Dress Rehearsal in the

Gymatorium.

Student Council is holding their Toys for Tots toy drive from now until December 12th. We

invite all students and teachers to donate new, unwrapped toys in the collection bins outside the

main office and the library. Students may also hand the toys to their homeroom teachers. All

toys are being picked up on Tuesday, December 13th. Our wonderful U.S. Marine Corps is

sponsoring this amazing event.

should be group TWO today (not group 1 -- oops!). That means teams E, F, G, H will meet

today. If you're on team ABCD and have already made arrangements to stay, that is fine, you

may join us.

Scientista Club will meet TODAY for Group 1 (Teams ABCD). There will be an activity

bus. Please make sure you have a Thursday Activity Bus pass or a ride home at 4:30.

Dance Club practice for today (December 8th) is for Squads A and B only!
