What Did The Dog Say? Dear Family,
As I’ve often said, we can always learn about God through
all of His creation. So, what can we learn from a dog? Lenny and
Ruthie Pliska shared the following with me. After reading it, I
realized that it is more than just cute...IT’S TRUE!
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn
things like:
*When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
*Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
*Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to
be pure ecstasy.
*Take naps.
*Stretch before rising.
*Run, romp, and play daily.
*Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
*Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
*On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
*On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
*When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
*Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
*Be loyal.
*Never pretend to be something you’re not.
*If something truly good lies buried, dig until you find it.
*When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by,
and nuzzle them gently.
*ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF
EVERY DAY!
Learn from God always, but don’t miss
a lesson from the dog, either.
God bless and Mary keep you,
Fr. Michaud and Harley

In the coming weeks, you will be learning more about an initiative called Safe
Haven Sunday that will equip parents to protect their family from the ill effects
of pornography. Why is this important? According to the Journal of Adolescent
Health, prolonged exposure to pornography leads to: • Cynicism about love or
the need for affection between sexual partners. • Belief that marriage is sexually
confining. • Lack of attraction to family and child-raising. Learn more about
ending porn exposure at diolc.org/shs Come to church on Safe Haven Sunday –
March 10th.
