Directions: Cut out magnifying glass shapes. Write chapter summary in the blank areas.
Stack together with cover on top. Use a staple or brad to secure pages together.

Crackers Pull Tab Trash Can
Directions: Cut out trash can. Using an exact-o knife, cut dotted line. Cut out lid as one piece.
Let your student write a summary of this chapter on the white area (you may need to type it
and cut/paste it). Carefully bend the bottom black part of the lid and slip it down behind the
white dotted line. Push it all the way down into the trash can. Look at the back of the can and
add tiny amounts of glue. Do not touch the lid piece. Glue to the back of your lapbook. Your
student should be able to life the lid out of the bucket to read his summary.
