CELEBRATION It is with real joy and with a great sense of celebration that we can inform all those who do not already know, that Ben and Mackenzie, his girlfriend, are engaged. We are so happy for them both and give a warm and enthusiastic welcome to her and the wonderful Loudon clan into our extended family community, just as they have for us. Ben picked a great time to propose, and we were able to be part of the celebration in the evening. This wonderful event occurred as our boxes and tubs were dispatched on the first leg of their journey to the UK, and on the same day as our family garage sale. We were, however, all able to gather in the evening with the Loudon family and have a wonderful celebration meal. After 5 years in Colorado and six in California, please pray that we would be able to hone down our belongings and only transport what is essential. Our boxes only contained personal belongings, no furniture. Furniture is something that we need to gather when we get back to the UK.

Now that Kevin has completed the assignment with Oasis USA it is somewhat freeing and makes us realize how much energy we tend to exert in those intense and complex situations. Therefore, Kevin would appreciate prayers for the ability to let go and focus on recuperating as well as finding a healthy life balance again. There have been several encouragements amongst the various challenges. We have connected with many quality people in the USA who are living sacrificial lives that enable them to partner with significantly vulnerable people. Oasis HUBS are developing in several states and the TFC influence is carrying on and helping people in local communities support the vulnerable through three different organizations. I am also hopeful that by the fall of 2016 the finances of Oasis USA will have strengthened. Thank you for your prayers for Linsey. She has had her research proposal agreed by Fuller, which is one additional step towards developing her thesis that will support the work of the church and others in fighting human trafficking. She will be making this available to all once it is completed. Josh is currently on a break from his university in London. He did well with his studies, recently completed an internship with the magazine Shortlist, and worked in a whisky store. For his next year in London, he needs to find appropriate accommodation that will a place of rest for him and manage his now confirmed Student Finance loan. Charys has now graduated from Blair High School and awaits the IB results with baited breath. She has two accepted offers in Universities in the UK and hopes to achieve the required grades. She has been very active; jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft, working with Josh and Ben in the proposal planning, organizing her US departure and clarifying her GAP period in Europe. Please pray as she receives her results in a few days and says her goodbyes to friends and families; it will be an emotional time. As you can guess, Ben would like prayer, as he will now be staying in California arranging a wedding, pursuing his studies, music and chasing his dreams. Its a big shift for him not having his parents or siblings permanently in the same country. We praise God, however, that he has a great community

around him with the band, friends and Mackenzies family with whom he is deeply connected. Ben is currently exercising his drumming skills through various local opportunities and was chuffed that the "Go Fund Me" campaign was successful in adding support for his studies. Linsey would appreciate prayer, as the transition for her will perhaps be the hardest. She will be leaving her mother and her sisters in the USA. Over the years, Linsey has been a strong support to her US family and has also received strong support from them, especially since her father died just over two years ago. Please pray she would be able to journey through this transition and experience the comfort of God, and that she would also finish her research in a way that gives her life and would assist in helping stop human trafficking and support those who have been victimized and survived. Over the last couple of years Kevin has experienced many areas where the presence of the kingdom and the love of Christ has impacted lives, however, he has also journeyed through intense and complex scenarios. Its interesting how those two often go together. Suffice to say that there is now a time for reflection and restoration. During the latter part of the year and upon our return to the UK it is our hope and intention (after listening to some wise counsel) to undertake a home assignment. This home assignment would entail visiting supporters, reconnecting back into the UK, taking a sabbatical, finishing Linseys research program, writing, and exploring what the next phase of our lives would entail. We would appreciate prayer for good connections, self-discipline, inspiration, safety and wisdom

The Potter ensemble would especially appreciate prayer for time management as we look to incorporate various means of communication that would cover at least three different countries. We may all get to be experts on

This video scans through our long-term journey that has included various periods of transition. It highlights the areas of impact that we have all had a hand in, through a combination of action, encouragement, prayer or financial support. It reminds me how many people interlinked together can journey as a diverse community and give life. Through these ventures, we have all connected with many lives and had our lives impacted and changed by many people.

We would also appreciate your prayers for our wider family as several are battling health issues. Please pray for Rosemary, who has recently moved into a new home and for Kevins

parents who are now living in an assisted care community. Both transitions look to have been good moves.

Update:

Praise God Linseys nephew and his wife have just become parents for the first time. Please pray for wisdom, health, strength and good sleep for all. We are in Colorado on the last leg out of the US. Pray for strength and the ability to let go and move into the future. In the USA you can still support our future work by donating through the Refuge.

Prayer Thank you for your prayers of healing and strength for Rick and his family. After the

chemotherapy a lot of the cancer has gone. Please continue to pray for further healing and strength.

Pray that our friend C would be able to obtain employment, a steady place to stay and the resources to pursue her dream of helping girls who are vulnerable to or caught up in human trafficking within familial trafficking situations.

Please pray for the work of Oasis USA. That it would find the resources needed to strengthen and: -

o The various grassroots anti-trafficking community groups would deepen their influence and impact.

o That the TFC model, now being used & copied by several organizations would be a fruitful tool in helping care for victims and support survivors.

o That the several Oasis HUB initiatives being developed in the northern states of the US would find traction and fruit.

Over the last several years and especially the more recent weeks we have been conscious of the various competing insights relating to the highly charged same-sex debate occurring both in Britain and the USA. We have many friends in the LGBT and Heterosexual communities who are passionate concerning their specific point of view and we can understand why. One area we would highlight and ask us to consider is that Human Traffickers do not distinguish between sexual orientation. They will use, oppress and abuse people from various gender communities to extract and squeeze a financial reward. As we all passionately express our personal points of view could we also spend some time to pray and advocate with a similar sense of passion for all the various people who are currently being enslaved and abused on the streets of our cities.
