Please join us! Your night will include tasty appetizers, followed by a top notch
prime rib and salmon dinner.
The music will be provided by a professional DJ.
Price for your night out is $75 per person.
They will have a no host bar tended by our own Kent Soffel.
We will also have a small auction. Anyone who would like to donate a basket, nice bottle of wine, ect ...will be greatly appreciated, just bring your item to the event. If possible please respond to
the evite ASAP so we can get a preliminary head count P.S. Feel free to bring an item, basket.. for the auction.

October flew by and closed with warm, mild weather right up to the end. November is here, wet and windy, as we would expect. I still foresee more boating opportunities before the end of the year. I really enjoy boating on calm waters when it is cold and clear and with minimal boat traffic. In October, we changed our monthly Board meeting place to Eastlake Bar & Grill. It was a great improvement from the previous venues. We voted to meet there for the November meeting and continue in 2018. Paul Quinn negotiated an acceptable contract for us so we finally have the monthly meeting location stable. (Thank you, Paul). The upstairs meeting room is reserved and I hope to see you there November 14th. Our October event, the Halloween Haunted Suite at the Suquamish Clearwater Resort was very fun. The pre-party function and dinner party in the HHYC Suite on the hotel’s seventh floor with a beautiful view of Agate Pass. In the evening, participants wore great costumes and were fed well with ghoulish appetizers and pizza. For entertainment, Larry Parrett
played the host of a rousing game of Haunted Feud. Before and after the Suite party, many of us enjoyed gambling in the casino or watching football games in the sports bar on the big screen. The Casino provided a live band and some of us continued to wear our costumes and dance late into the evening. Departing the event on Sunday, some left in the morning, some had a leisurely breakfast at the Casino café and others watched the Seahawk game on the big screen in the Casino sports bar leaving for home later in the day. I want to thank our hosts, James and Julie Life, Sue and Mike Burke for their efforts putting on this very fun event. Special thanks to Keli and Larry Parrett providing access to the great venue and reserving rooms. It is hard to believe that my tenure as Commodore is nearly over. That being said, we are still very busy with events and event planning. The November event,
the annual Pay Your Dues party, is at Queen City Yacht Club on November 11th. Commodores Ball will be January 20th at the Embassy Suites in Eastgate. There will be a no host bar with a live band for dancing following a wonderful buffet dinner. This is a pre-pay for this event to and no walk-ins allowed. Rooms are available for a special rate for HHYC. Look for the Evite for further details. Happy boating! Dane Fantz Commodore
