How We Manufacture the Planks

ALLMARC INDUSTRIES is a Leading Manufacturer and Exporter of Scaffolding Walkway Planks. We are not Bounded with only Fix size and Type of Planks, But We have Wide Range of Planks with Different type of Hook or Without Hook, Embossing, Material of Construc�on and Customer Specific Length, Width and Height.

For the manufacturing of the Planks, Allmarc uses both Roll forming and CNC bending Machines to provided customised Width and Length. For the Different type of Embossing we are using Hydraulic and Mechanical Power Presses according to Embossing Style. Our Tool Room and R&D Department take care of Dies and Punches and New developments.

Manual and Robo�c welding process.For the Assemblies and Welding we have cer�fied welders and Automa�c Robo�c Welding Machines. We u�lise the type of welding as per Planks Design.

Allmarc Industries made the decision to invest in robot technology for the welding process. Robo�c welding systems are able to operate con�nuously, Providing repeatability of quality in the welds. Ar�cula�ng robots employ arms and rota�ng joints. A robo�c welding system can perform more consistently than a manual welder because of the monotony of the task.

TESTING / QUALITYALLMARC INDUSTRIES' Planks are manufactured to meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI recommenda�ons. NABL Approved Laboratory, an accredited third party independent tes�ng lab were selected to perform the load tes�ng of Scaffolding Planks manufactured by ALLMARC. In house load tes�ng is also performed on a random selec�on of planks during the manufacturing process.Our Quality Department verify the Different parameter of the Planks and give the assurance of Quality.

The purpose of a Toe Board is to prevent objects, tools and equipment being falling over the edge or being knocked from the scaffolding structure. Its best prac�ce to implement toe boards whenever handrails are used whenever there's a risk of tools or objects falling from the edge.

As per the OSHA's Standard; A standard Toe Board shall be 4 inches (nominal) minimum in ver�cal height from its top edge to the level of the floor, pla�orm, runway, or ramp. It shall be securely fastened in place and have not more than 1/4-inch clearance above floor level.

The Basic unit of a cup lock scaffolding system consists of four horizontal elements which are fixed at a point along the ver�cal element. The same element which are part of the system can be used to create suitable solu�on for the purpose of assembling a stair tower, due to the high load bearing capacity associated with the system.

The Ver�cal Elements in the system are equipped with locking kits, which are welded on to them at intervals of 500 mm or 1000 mm. This offers an economical and prac�cal solu�on for projects which have level difference at the ground or at the deck. The locking kit consists of bo�om and top cups. Where bo�om cup is welded onto the ver�cal element and the Top cup or the upper cup is moveable along the length of the ver�cal element.

With the mobility of the upper cup comes the responsibility of ensuring that it is not removed from the ver�cal element completely, owing to the structural difficul�es that could occur due to the misplacement of the same. The heads of the horizontal elements, which are structured out of the both end of an elements. With the help of hammer, the upper cup can be rotated in the clockwise direc�on and the head of the horizontal element is squeezed rigidly between the upper and lower cups.

ALLMARC INDUSTRIES is a Manufacturer and Exporter of Cuplock Scaffolding System.

Cuplock Standard / Ver�cal are manufactured from 48 mm OD MS Round Pipe, provided in various sizes with Cup Joints welded at 500 mm Intervals or as per the Client’s Requirements. The top cups are made from Malleable cas�ng to endure rough site handling, and welded bo�om cups are Pressed from High Quality Steel.

CUPLOCK LEDGER / HORIZONTAL

ALLMARC Make Cuplock Ledger is used to make rigid bond to endure uneven site handling. Forged Ledger blade is Welded at both ends, which fits between Top cup and Bo�om cup of ver�cal.

Ms round pipes is used of 48.00 mm OD and 3 mm Thickness. Minimum projec�on of blades avoids damages in handling and uniform dimension makes the cup joints rigid.

U-HEAD JACKAdjustable Jack S�rrup head is used at the top of the ver�cal Cuplock standard in order to provide an addi�onal maximum adjustment of length up to 300 – 600 mm. The main applica�on of U-Jacks is to hold MS Beams and channel in places, upon which the shu�ering plates are placed during the construc�on. The U-Jacks Are Manufactured using the roll threading process, which increases safety and enables them to have a load bearing capacity of up to 4 Tones.

SCAFFOLDINGSAFETY

No scaffold shall be erected, moved, dismantled or altered except under the supervision of competent persons. A competent person is defined as one who is capable of iden�fying exis�ng and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working condi�ons, and who has the authoriza�on to take prompt correc�ve ac�on to eliminate them.

GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINE

SCAFFOLDING FRAME SAFETYþ The Scaffold Frame must be capable of suppor�ng four �mes the maximum intended load.þ Using a horizontal frame separa�on distance of 7 feet, the maximum plank extension over the end support shall be no more than 12

inches if guardrails are not used to block access to the area.þ On a 10-sec�on wide frame scaffold, the overlap for each plank on top of each other must be 12 inches.þ A scaffold 5 feet wide, 35 feet in length and 30 feet high with frame spacing of 7 feet must have horizontal securement every 20 feet and

ver�cal �e-in every 20 feet.þ A frame scaffold, three sec�ons high, using a can�levered outrigger pla�orm, shall use �es, guys, braces, outriggers or scaffold

manufacturer's stabilizer legs or equivalent.

SCAFFOLDING RAILSþ Guardrails are required on welded frame

scaffolds that are 10 feet high or more.þ Top rail height shall be at least 36 inches to

a maximum of 45 inches.þ Top rail strength must be at least 200

pounds for welded frame scaffolds.þ Mid rail strength on a welded frame

scaffold must be at least 150 pounds.þ Scaffold legs must bear on base plates and

these shall rest on either firm founda�on or mud sills.

SCAFFOLDING PLANKSþ The space between the scaffold planks must be no more than 25 MM.þ The max. distance permi�ed between a plank and a frame upright is 225 MM.þ An un cleated scaffold plank must extend over the end support a min. of 150 MM.

OTHER SPECSþ Scaffold pla�orms above one sec�on high must be provided with safe access.þ When hook-on-ladders are used, they must be provided with a rest pla�orm at

every 35 feet.þ The scaffold distance between an insulated 220 volt line must be at least three

feet.þ Work shall not be permi�ed during high winds. High winds are classified by the

Na�onal Weather Service as 50 kph gusts or higher. Ul�mately, the decision is to be made by the competent person.DISCLAIMER: These recommenda�ons were
