The Pre-Pharmacy Freshman Early Assurance Program is a 2+3 Pharm.D. Degree Program for high school students. Students accepted into this program complete the Chapman University School of Pharmacy course prerequisites in two years. Once prerequisites and admission requirements are fulfilled, students join the three-year Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

Application processOur application is accessed via the Common App.

1. Visit CommonApp.org and create an account

2. Add Chapman University as your college

3. Choose Pre-Pharmacy as your major

4. Complete or attach:

a. All admission requirements for Chapman

b. Essay on why you would make a good pharmacist

c. Letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher

d. Letter of recommendation from a healthcare professional or another teacher

Early Action and Early Decision applicants are notified by January 1. Regular Decision applicants are notified by March 20.

Competitive applicants have a minimum total SAT score of 1290 (essay portion not required, Quantitative portion 660 or higher) or an ACT of 29 (Mathematics portion 28 or higher) and a GPA of a least 3.5.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of the pharmacy profession and an excellent supplemental application essay.

The application deadline for Early Action or Early Decision is November 1. The application deadline for Regular Decision is January 15.
