Every heritage porch is bespoke. They are supplied in kit form with oak pegs. Pallet delivery means we can send them anywhere in the world.

If you wish to place an order, email us your plans or a photo and we can design one with the correct proportions to your building.

We also make the heritage oak door seen here in these porches. Working from the prin-ciples of the traditional ledger and brace, they are available in a full or half door and with any shape of window. Due to the thickness of these doors and the use of k-glass, they provide an impressive u-value to retain the heat in your home.

King post Trusses

The king post connects the apex of the truss with its base, hanging the tie beam. King posts were often used in medieval architecture in buildings such as parish churches and tithe barns, and also appear in gothic revival and Queen Anne architecture.

The alternative queen truss uses two curved posts. A queen truss is often made from heavier timbers as it relies on the tie beam for support. Time has proven this old craft to be supperior. Traditional mortise and tenon joints with oak pegs provide the strength in every joint.

We supply a structural certificate by approved and insured engineers. This ensures the structure complies with building regulations.

Bespoke Kitchens

We believe it takes a ‘feminine’ touch to make a house into a home. Wilst we provide inspiration and advice, our design process starts with you. We listen to your ideas and guide you through an interview to discover your lifestyle and taste. Consequently- we develop a design which is bespoke and an exact interpretation of your brief.

As well as the kitchen, we are able to offer a range of products which ensure a consistent theme throughout the home. These include; sill boards, feature oak lintels, fireplace beams, oak doors & frames, beams and trusses.

Bespoke furniture is also made to order. Our most popular peices are dining tables, monks benches and blanket/tack boxes.

Heritage Half Door

The heritage oak door developed from the principles of the traditional ledger and brace. We can make these in a full or half door and with any shape of window. Due to the thickness of these doors and double glazed k-glass, they provide an impressive u-value to retain the heat in your home. The frame contains a hidden draft strip and weather bar.

In this illustration, natural clay herringbone brick is set in the panels with lime mortar.

Internal Oak Door

It’s the finishing touches which make a home special. That’s why we deliver more than just a door.

The heavy oak frame is made from 5 by 4” beams. Hand forged ironmongery is the perfect complement for these doors.

We can supply a ‘worn’ door saddle, this is useful where the floor changes from tiles to carpet.
