sharp chinks of gneiss, then slows to flow easily through ice m

eadows, kept perpetually open by the annual spring ice flows. established in 1999 as a way to boost tourism

, the first Wilderness corridor was designed

to highlight attractions, events, outdoor activities and businesses along the river rail corridor between Saratoga and tahawus.

the Saratoga and North creek Railway spans both Saratoga and W

arren counties and follows the hudson River as it did in 1871 when thom

ents by henry hudson (1565-1611), Seneca Ray Stoddard (1843-1917) and verplanck colvin (1847-1920). Stoddard and colvin both travelled extensively through the adirondack W
