The correct coating is determined of the cylinder type or from the site. This is discussed in the technical briefing with the client. Some coatings are subject to restrictions of diameter. Generally, Heynck offers other coatings. The coatings listed here correspond to the regular programme for the mining industry.

Quality control from A-Z

Monitoring and controlling of suppliers Quality takes on a top priority at HEYNCK®. Thus, we only accept suppliers which meet the required quality standards. Through regular inspections of suppliers we ensure that the level of qualitiy is maintained. Initial material inspections Before fine-grained construction steels are processed, the quality of the steel ist analysed by testing laboratories, such as those at Germanischer Lloyd. The construction steels are released for production only when the results of the analyses match the test results from the steel manufacturer. Component Identification Each component is given its own number which stamped onto it. This number, carefully maintained documentation and our batch management system, allows us to trace it back to the delivery from which the individual components originated from. Monitoring of the welds Welds are inspected for any possible lack of fusion using ultrasonic testing.  

Accuracy of components Components are checked for their dimensional accuracy within the qualitiy assurance system. Assembly The assembly process includes the recording of individual components. Once the nameplate has been fitted with ist relevant serial number, the individual components from which it was constructed can be seen. Test bed Every single cylinder, whether it has been newly produced or has been repaired, is inspected after assembly on the test bed. The inspection process is carried out according to customer specifications or, where no specifications are given, wie inspect to our own code and standards of testing. Paint spraying The cylinders are paint sprayed according to customer specifications.
