The Law of Sacrament Meeting
I am thy father, and this is LAW of the Sacrament Meeting for my children.
Attend thy Sacrament Meetings and honor thy parents with thy quietness. Sit upright and slouch not, and lie not on the floor or in the aisle – but if thou liest in the aisle kick not thy feet upon the bench so that it noise makes.
Make not eye contact with thine friends or enemies in yonder bench, nor shout to them, nor wave, nor make signals with thy hands which suggesteth that thy brother or sister is crazy. Yea verily, roll not thine eyes at this commandment, lest thou be smitten with the curse of sitting between thy father and mother for the rest of the meeting.
Eat no more than one of the sacrament bread, nor touch the other bread on the tray despite the pleasing taste. To touch the other bread upon the tray is loathsome unto me and those others on this same bench. Honor thy Mother and do not wipe thy mouth with the back of thy hand after drinking the sacrament water and speak not that it “hit the spot”. Keep not the sacrament cup as a toy, but returneth it to the tray. Do not set it on thine head as a tiny hat, for to do so makes others laugh loudly and makes thy mother full of sharp looks toward thee.
Beg not to use the bathroom, for thou shalt use the bathroom before the meeting begins, but if thou holdest thyself, and speaketh that thou must go “really, really bad’ then thou mayest go to the bathroom, but thou shall receive my look of disapproval and unhappiness. Smile not, as thou leavest for the bathroom, lest thou be not believed, nor wave to thine friends when retiring to the bathroom.
Return not unto the bench with water still unswallowed in thy mouth, lest thou recievest my wrath, for thou didst not ask to get a drink, but only to use the bathroom, and if thou dost giggle and dribble water upon thy chin and shirt, then shalt the anger of they parents again be kindled toward thee.
Speak not out loud that the speaker is boring, even though it be true, for such is forbidden in the chapel, but speak it only on the drive home when thy mother and father can agree and share mirth with thee.

Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem.
And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,
For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD,
Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

not necessarily to walk in it, and many have not been able to continue in faith. These have submitted themselves in one degree or another to the enticings of Satan and his servants and joined with those of "the world" in lives of ever-deepening idolatry…
An older couple retired from the world of work and also, in effect, from the Church. They purchased a pickup truck and camper and, separating themselves from all obligations, set out to see the world and simply enjoy what little they had accumulated the rest of their days.
They had no time for the temple, were too busy for genealogical research and for missionary service. He lost contact with his high priests quorum and was not home enough to work on his personal history. Their experience and leadership were sorely needed in their branch, but, unable to "endure to the end," they were not available.

Ezekiel describes the river's impact on all it touches with these words: "And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live . . . because these waters shall come thither; for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh."
