Mimizan

Mimizan, known as the «Pearl of the Côte d’Argent», is found on the Atlantic coast of France in the massive fo-rest of the Landes.It was the first ‘bathing station’ in the Landes and was created at the end of the 19th century. Mimizan les Bains (its name at the time) was popular and attractedmany famous people who spent time there including,

amongst others, Winston Churchill, Coco Chanel, Salvador Dali and Charlie Chaplin. In 1911, the Duke ofWestminster built the Château de Woolsack that has sur-vived to this day.Even now, this seaside resort has kept many of its charms: nature is abundant and protected and it has a special peacefulness that allows you to recharge.

A short 500 meter walk from a beach of fine sand, (from the campsite exit) hidden in the pine forest behind the sand dunes, you will find the Club Marina-Landes waiting to welcome you into its comfortable and dynamic atmos-phere to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday.It’s a real village where everything is near to hand. shop, bar-restaurant, pizzeria, newsagent, bicycle hire, Wifi.And if you want to do some shopping, mingle in a local market, they are all only a 15 minute walk away.

Possibility to rent cloth sheets and extra blankets.

Furnishings are rented out of board, without towels. The rentals are available from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. during July and August (out of season please contact us for the timetable). Departures must be before 10:00 a.m. in the morning.A small tent (max 2.5*2.5 m) may be pitched free of charge (except for the apartments) if you wish and if the site is big enough, without excee-ding the number of persons allowed into the tenancy (please specify this information on the booking contract).The community of Mimizan has voted for the implementation of a holiday tax package for 2017.
