Beloved friends,

blew the shofar as an opening call for the people gathered there into the solemn assembly honoring God’s chosen people. The Lord’s presence immediately filled the room, and we felt that this ministry was part of a pivotal time of transition in our nation’s history. It was sobering to witness many people awakening to God’s ongoing direction, uniting Jews and Christians to work together in support of the land of Israel.

The Bible tells about the Tribe of Issachar as they saw the fulfillment of God’s promise when King David took the throne to replace Israel’s King Saul. The tribe of Issachar discerned the change and prominently moved into God’s divine plan and new blessing.

Eleven of the twelve Israeli tribes still remained divided among themselves and were undecided as to whether they would serve Saul or David. It was only the sons of Issachar who stepped up in David’s support and totally committed themselves to him. They were prompted in their spirit that “it was the time” for God to fulfill His prophetic word given by the prophet Samuel, 17 years earlier (I Sam. 15:28). The Lord gave their tribe an anointing to understand His prophetic timing. He was tearing down the rebellious kingdom of Saul to give it to His servant David. The Bible says, “Issachar’s 200 leaders and all their relatives stood together ‘in covenantal unity’ to help fulfill the vision.”

God’s mission for High Adventure is for us to advance His Kingdom on the earth. Now we must step up and bring in the tremendous harvest of souls. As a High Adventure partner, you are helping us fulfill the role of Issachar as a special ops soldier in the Lord’s Army. He orders us to watch, give, and encourage others to become watchman on His walls.

The Bible teaches that “Issachar was a strong group of men who put their shoulder to the burden” (Gen. 49:14-12). Through their insight and encouragement, they led their nation into God’s immediate vision and purposes.

Issachar was Israel’s farmland “bread basket”, bringing provision to the rest of the tribes. And you,

“The sons of Issachar discerned the times and knewwhat Israel ought to do.”

Honoring israel

We are so excited by the two new Internet channels we have launched - HATV-Israel.com and HATV-Classics.com. Those tuning in have commented on the powerful anointing they felt while watching them both. Recently, our Director of Media had the opportunity to produce an interview with Allen Hall - a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust. As I watched his moving story, shot in Miami at the Holocaust Memorial, I felt a strong prompting of the Holy Spirit to start a whole new channel - The Holocaust Survivors Series! As Mr. Hall shared his family’s heroic journey, I realized that time is of the essence, and if we want to learn anything at all from history - we are going to have to capture the voices of those who still remain before they are no longer with us.
