RETURNING GOODS PROCEDURE.

1. Goods received damaged.

All shipments leaving Blast-Jet are packaged according to good standard packaging practice. Blast-Jet cannot be held responsible for any goods damaged in transit. Responsibility for damaged shipment lies with the customer.

2. Goods Return Authorisation (RA) number.

Customers returning goods to Blast-Jet for any reason must obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) Number. Each RA Number issued by Blast-Jet Customer Service is unique and is used to track customer returned goods through the return process.

Note: All goods returned to Blast-Jet for any purpose require an RA Number. Goods will not be accepted for return without an

RA Number. Obtaining an RA Number is no guarantee of warranty or credit.

3. To acquire an RA number.

Call a Blast-Jet Customer Service Representative to get an RA Number and provide the following information:

a. Company name, address, telephone and fax number.b. Itemised list of the goods being returned as well as quantity, part number or serial number and invoice number.c. Reason(s) for returning goods.

4. Goods return directives.

All returns must be pre-authorised by a Customer Service Representative and will not be accepted without an RA Number. Unauthorised returns will be re-shipped at the customers expense.

Note: Goods built to a customers specification, goods unique to customer engineered systems or goods that have been

modified by the customer cannot be returned for credit under any conditions. Goods must be returned within 30 days of issuing of RA number.

GOODS RETURN AUTHORISATION PROCEDURES

There are five different procedures to follow depending upon the reason for returning the goods as explained on the following pages.

1. Goods ordered in error by customer – returned for credit.

a. Acquire an RA Numberb. The goods will be examined by Customer Service to make sure they are unused, in new condition and free of

handling damage. If goods are determined new, the customer will receive full credit for the amount charged minus freight cost. A copy of the credit invoice will be forwarded to the customer and the credit can be used on future orders.

c. If the goods are not in new condition Blast-Jet will notify the customer as to their disposition.d. Blast-Jet may charge a restocking fee.e. Goods being returned to Blast-Jet must be shipped at customer’s expense.

Note: Non-stocked or special goods are not returnable.

2. Unused goods – returned for credit that are less than six months old.

a. Acquire an RA Number.Acquire an RA Number.b. The goods will be examined by Customer Service to make sure they are unused, in new condition and free of

handling damage. If goods are determined new, the customer will receive full credit for the amount charged minus freight cost. A copy of the credit invoice will be forwarded to the customer and the credit can be used on future orders.

c. If the goods are not in new condition Blast-Jet will notify the customer as to their disposition.d. Blast-Jet may charge a restocking fee.e. Goods being returned to Blast-Jet must be shipped at customer’s expense.

3. Goods shipped in error by Blast-Jet – returned for credit.

If goods are determined new, the customer will receive full credit for the amount charged and the originally ordered goods will be shipped to the customer along with a refund of freight costs. When a claim is approved, a credit invoice for the originally shipped goods will be forwarded to the customer. This credit can be used on future orders.

c. If the goods are not in new condition Blast-Jet will notify the customer as to their disposition.

4. Goods returned for repair.

a. Acquire an RA Number.b. Blast-Jet will provide a verbal, or upon request a written quotation for the repair cost including labour, assuming the

equipment can be repaired. Return freight will be charged as incurred.c. Customer will issue a purchase order for the repair amount.d. Damaged or worn parts will be returned to the customer along with new parts. If the customer does not wish to

have the damaged parts returned, he must notify Blast-Jet in writing.e. If goods are not repairable, not cost effective to repair, or not approved for repair, they will be returned to the

customer at their expense or scrapped at Blast-Jet upon receipt of written customer request.

5. Goods returned for warranty repair or replacement.

a. Acquire an RA Number.b. Warranty replacement and/or repair will be handled according to Blast-Jet standard warranty. If you have any

questions, answers can be obtained by writing, calling or faxing Blast-Jet Customer Service.

Note:Warranty service extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable or assignable without Blast-Jet Prior consent.

c. Blast-Jet Customer Service will evaluate and test all return goods thought to be defective by the customer for warranty consideration, to make sure they are covered by the Blast-Jet warranty. A warranty claim will be handled in the most prompt manner as possible. After a warranty determination is made, the parts will be handled accordingly.

GOODS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE UNDER TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY

a. If the goods are found to be defective under terms of the warranty, Blast-Jet Customer Service will decide whether the goods will be repaired or replaced. The repaired or new replacement goods will be shipped to the customer without charge. Shipping charges, however are not covered under warranty.

b. If goods are in stock, they will be shipped immediately. If they are not in stock, the goods will be sent as soon as possible.

c. If the warranty claim is approved, Blast-Jet will either repair, replace or issue a credit invoice for the goods. A copy of the credit invoice will be sent to the customer and the credit can be used on future orders.

GOODS FOUND NOT TO BE DEFECTIVE UNDER TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY

a. If the goods are found not to be defective under the terms of this warranty Customer Service will notify the customer.

b. The customer at his option may:i. Issue a purchase order to have the goods repairedii. Request that the goods be returned (at his expense)iii. Request that the goods be scrapped at Blast-Jet (requires written request)iv. If no notification is received from the customer within 10 business days, the original goods will be returned at

the customers expense.

HOW TO PACKAGE GOODS TO BE RETURNED

a. Except for goods sent for warranty or repair, all goods must be clean and in a re-sellable condition and must be returned in their original packaging or other suitable protective container.

b. Goods returned must be carefully packed so as to reach Blast-Jet without damage.

WARRANTY TERMSThe warranty period from date of customer purchase is 24 months for Blast-Jet high pressure cleaners and 12 months for other Blast-Jet high pressure and vacuum cleaners according to Blast-Jet standard for material and production error. The proof of purchase is required.

The warranty is void if changes are made to the safety device or if the machine is used at excess temperatures or pressures. The warranty is also void if the machine is used with a voltage below the required rating, with less than the required amount of water, with dirty water and external damage to the pressure gauge, nozzle, high pressure hose and spray device. This same applies for incorrect operation.

This warranty does not cover war parts such as gauge, seals, valves, o-rings, hose, gun, lance and nozzle.

Operating instructions supplied must be complied with.

below the required rating, with less than the required amount of water, with dirty water and external damage to the pressure gauge,

nozzle, high pressure hose and spray device. This same applies for incorrect operation.

This warranty is not applicable for wear and tear parts (e.g. seals, valves, o-rings, etc.)
