High School Credits

Each class per semester = 5 creditsEach class per year = 10 credits

If there are 6 periods in a day, how many credits should your student earn every year?

Answer: 60 credits

At the end of the year you should have:9th grade55 credits

10th grade110 credits

11th grade165 credits

12th grade220 credits to graduate

A-G requirements

…To prepare every student to meet the A-G College Entrance requirement

A. History- 2 years A-GWorld History: 1 year for high school graduationU.S. History: 1 year for high school graduation

B. English- 4 years A-GEnglish 1-4: 4 years for high school graduation

C. Mathematics- 3 years A-G (with minimum of Algebra II)

3 years for high school graduation

D. Laboratory Science- 2 years A-G

1 year of biological science for high school graduation 1 year of physical science for high school graduation
