The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. The Arboretum is part of The Royal British Legion family of charities and is set in the pleasant Staffordshire countryside between Litchfield and Burton-upon-Trent. Visitors enjoy a wide variety of trees, many of which have a relevance to the memorials around them. Planting started in 1997 and there are already over 50,000 trees planted over the 150 acre site. Conceived as a living tribute to the war time generations of the 20th Century, the Arboretum is a reminder for future generations to enjoy. But it is not only the service of soldiers that is recognised as there are numerous gardens acknowledging the sacrifice of the civil services and many more. Many people have commented that a visit to the

Arboretum is both reflective and hugely uplifting. We hope that you can join us.

EUROPEAN HOLIDAYS To Book ( 01425 27111119

One of the most perfectly preserved medieval cities in Europe, Bruges has been one of our most popular destinations for many years. Famous for its lace shops, magnificent churches and, of course, chocolate.

A holiday in Bruges is like taking a trip back in time as you wander through cobbled streets surrounded by historic buildings as horse drawn carriages go by and a trip on one of the canal boats gives you a unique view of ‘the Venice of the north’.

DAY 1 : After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.30am we travel to Folkestone for the Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. From Calais, Bruges is only 1 ½ hours away.

DAY 2 : Full day in Bruges. The compact city centre is easy to explore and there are plenty of attractions to occupy your time. In the morning we shall be joined by a local guide for a short walking tour to learn the fascinating history of the town (Included). A boat cruise around the city is also an excellent way to see the sights. Other attractions include the Diamond Museum and Chocolate Museum. Or you can simply relax in the pavement cafes & bars and soak up the atmosphere.

DAY 3 : You may decide to spend more time in Bruges today or join our excursion by coach across the border in to Holland to visit the attractive town of Sluis before returning to Bruges.

DAY 4 : We depart Bruges in the morning and head back to Calais - boarding the lunchtime Eurotunnel crossing.

One of the best city break destinations in Northern Europe.
