Fabulous 50 award recipients and Businessman of the Year 2007

On December 4, 2007, 335 guests gathered at the Putrajaya

International Convention Centre in Malaysia to attend an award

ceremony and dinner in honor of Forbes Asia’s Fabulous 50

companies and Businessman of the Year. The Honorable YAB Dato’

Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia,

was the guest-of-honor and participated in a “Meeting of Minds”

with Tim Ferguson, Editor of Forbes Asia.

Mr K.V. Kamath, Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Bank, flew in from

Mumbai to be presented with the Businessman of the Year award

and also engaged in a “Meeting of Minds” with Mr Ferguson. Senior

representatives of many of the Fabulous 50 companies from across

the region were also on hand to receive awards.

September 17, 2007 issue, while the Businessman of the Year feature

appeared in December 10, 2007 issue.
