Professional services consul-tants, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC),planned a new head office for 2000employees at the prominent SpencerDock in Dublin in collaboration withIrish architects, Mullally Leonard Partnership.Concept/Design. A multi-stage, creative process was set in motion. Following comprehensive, internal discussions the Basis Team – the PwCproject team, the architects and Steel-case (office specialists) – would becomplemented by Structurelab andWaldmann, who were responsible fordealing with photometric and acousticissues.

Construction. To achieve optimumworking area illumination and beneficial acoustic conditions, thereflection and acoustic ceiling canopysystem type RX1 was the ideal solutionfor the specific spatial conditions atPwC. DAS MATERIAL UND DIE ANWENDUNGEN

Material: Fluorpolymere (PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE, ECTFE, PVDF und THV) sind hervorragende Werkstoffe, wenn Chemikalienbe-ständigkeit, ein weiter Einsatztemperaturbereich, lange Haltbarkeit, exzellente dielektrische Eigenschaften, geringe Reibung und Antihafteigenschaften gefordert sind. Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei PTFE (Polytetrafl uorethylen), hier fi nden sich alle angeführten Eigenschaften in einem Material.

TECHNISCHE ANWENDUNGEN

Hier arbeiten wir sehr eng mit Anwendern im Energie-, Industrie- und Umweltsektor zusammen. Unsere Produkte kommen in diesen Branchen wegen ihrer Langlebigkeit, effi zienter werdenden Prozessabläufe und Wirtschaftlichkeit zum Einsatz. MATERIAL AND APPLICATIONS

Material: Fluoropolymers (PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE, ECTFE, PVDF and THV) are excellent substances when it comes to special requirements such as chemical resistance, a wide range of operating tempera-ture, long durability, excellent dielectric or non sticking properties and low friction. All these characteristics are combined in a very special material - PTFE (polytetrafl uorethylene).

TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS
