Cycle along the banks of river Skjalfandafljot, through Fellsskogur forest and experience two powerful waterfalls, great canyon amongst other things.

• Adaldalur Valley Circle (Appr. 40 km total)

• Enjoy the nature of Laxa salmon river and the birdlife, ld museum at farm Grenjadarstadur, and visit the inside of the Hydro-Power Plant at Laxarvirkjun for a guided tour, which often includes art gallery exhibitions.

Example of an ideal picnic trip one day or half a day, biking/hiking.

• Approximately 8,5 km each leg, relatively flat / easy.

• Cycle along banks of river Skjalfandafljot until you come to Fossselsskogur forest where you can choose to cycle or hike.
