»Piggybacking all the way«A long time ago the peasants of Bohinj rebelled against their feudal lord. The rebellion was crushed and the men condemned to death. The women were sent into exile and allowed to take only the things which they could carry on their backs. The women chose their men and took westward them over the hills. As the legend says, they stopped on a terrace deep in the Tolmin mountains overlooking the Tolminka gorge. Thus the village of Čadrg was established.
