Hillcrest Primary School. Welcome to new families joining us for
the first time and welcome to all the familiar faces that form our
amazing school community.
Our school will be the focus of significant construction this year as
our vision for an holistic early years centre takes shape in
preparation for hosting our kindergarten students in 2016. You
may find walking your children to school is the preferred option as
many parking areas will be quarantined to allow for construction
(commencing term two).
Hillcrest Parent Information Evening
Wednesday February 18th 5pm onwards
Hillcrest Primary School will be open this Wednesday 18h February from 5pm to 7pm. Come down and meet
your child’s teacher, familiarise yourself with the classroom environment and discuss how you can best support
your child’s learning from home. There will be plenty of opportunity to check out the many before and after
school activities that are on offer at Hillcrest Primary. Head down to the undercover area for information on
Music, Soccer, Tennis, Netball, Chess , Art, Football and Before and after school care.
Our P&C committee will be available to assist with parent enquiries. The P&C AGM will be held directly after
the information session at 7.30pm. Come along and be part of the fun, caring and supportive group of parents
that form this integral part of our school community. See you there !
Wishing everyone an enjoyable start to the school year. I am looking forward to sharing in our students
celebrating their achievement of our Hillcrest S.T.A.R.R. qualities.
Dan Bralich
Principal

RESPECT is an attitude of caring about people and treating them with dignity. It is valuing ourselves and others. We show respect by speaking and acting with courtesy. When we are respectful we treat others as we want to be treated. Respect includes honouring the rules of our family or school, which make life more orderly and peaceful. It is knowing that every man, woman and child deserves respect, including you.
During your family sharing time you may like to discuss
Three ways you already practise respect;
Three ways you could show more respect and
How you feel when people treat you with respect.
