Grey is the new white Finally, greyscales are taking over as the base of interior

design. This delights us, as grey has been such an important colour to Himla for more than twenty years. Our prime

contrasting colours this Autumn are the striking yellow citrin and the vibrant green emerald. We make a point of combining the colours with the right fabrics to make just the impression we strive for. Grey has a natural place in the modern, Nordic

minimalistic style. It gives other colours a boost and is a rewarding base while creating your personal style.

If you want a change with textiles, curtains are your easiest choice. The best thing about linen is how easy you can create light effects by using different structures. While

a thin straining-cloth works as a veil, letting the sunlight in, the coarser linen works like a screen, while offering

more character. By playing with structures, you can control the atmosphere of a room.
