While giving a ‘Barbie goes gothic’ vibe with slinky outfits in pink and black hues, designers Dhruv and Pallavi completely missed the memo for fall fashion sensibilities. In a case of everything going wrong, the Assamese ‘mekhala’ inspired collection by designer Vaishali S got some flak for the confused silhouettes, mismatched prints and the accompanying song track on loop. The visual kill Infusing drama to the sluggish Day 5 of the fashion week, designer Nida Mahmood showcased velvet pants, quirky tops, saris and kaftan dresses. The cuff chains, Lennonesque glasses and edgy make up added punch to the show. Designers Kiran and Meghna presented a relaxed, chic collection featuring billowing high-waisted and pencil legged pants teamed with flowing shirt dresses and edgy kimono style long tops that gave a boho-chic vibe.
