School Trip

Every year in November, the second year

students go on a trip together. This year they went to

Tokyo. The students went together in groups to

various places. Many students’ favorite things were

Disneyland, Tokyo Skytree , Yokohama, Asakusa, and

The Lion King play.

Class Match

While the second years were off enjoying the

sights of Tokyo, the first and third graders had to

continue studying. They did get a quick break for

class match day. All of the classes played

different sports against the other classes to see

who the best in their grade was. The girls joined

teams for a dodgeball or volleyball tournament

and the boys competed in a basketball or softball

tournament. It was a great way for the students

to have some fun while the second graders were

enjoying Tokyo.

Foundation and Culture Day

Every year Hirosho celebrates the day it was established and

its culture on November first. It is celebrated with a ceremony

with a guest speaker that graduated from Hirosho. This year’s

guest speaker was Masato Kaneda who works in Singapore

and came back just for this speech. After the ceremony, the

students showed Hirosho’s culture with their different club

activities. Some of the most popular student performances

were from the symphonic band and rock band clubs.
