SACRAMENTAL CARE

Bap sm: The Sacrament of Bap sm for infants and children under the age of seven is celebrated the 2nd Saturday of each month. Parents are to a end a 2 session prepara on class which is held on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month. Parents must a end both sessions before bap sm of their child. It is recommended that the class be a ended before the birth of the child. This will ensure minimal wait before their baby is bap zed.

Sponsors are welcome but are not required to a end the class. Please call the office to register.

Children who have a ained seven years of age are to be involved in their prepara on for the sacraments. Contact the office for more informa on.

Anoin ng of the Sick: Any parishioner who is scheduled for serious surgery should receive the Sacrament of the Anoin ng of the Sick prior to the hospitaliza on. Please contact the office to arrange for a me to celebrate the sacrament.

Parishioners in danger of death due to sickness or old age should be anointed and receive via cum. Please contact the parish office or a er-hours emergency number for the ministry of a priest.

Marriage: Couples desiring to marry in the church, please email marriageprep@sain aus nachurch.org at least six to nine months ahead of an cipated wedding date. Week day, evening and Saturday appointments are available.

Low Gluten Hosts are available to those in need. Please see one of the Deacons or Acolytes before the Mass you are attending so we are able to accommodate you.

More than 60 programs receive all or part of their funding from the Diocesan Services Fund (DSF) and all funds are spent within Archdiocesan boundaries. The broad areas of ministry that receive DSF support include: Catholic education of children and adults; pastoral ministries for the sick, the poor and the incarcerated; the formation and education of church leadership; social service programs such as San José Clinic, St. Dominic Village and Catholic Charities.
