King
n.
A male sovereign, ruler.
whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King.
Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King?
The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The king
of the Jews but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

Crucify
v.
To put (a person) to death by nailing or binding to a cross.
But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him.
Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King?
Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified.
Where they crucified him, and two other with him.

Cross
n.
An upright post with a transverse piece near the top, on which
condemned persons were executed in ancient times.
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a
skull.

Place
n.

person or thing.

Pilate
n.
Roman procurator of Judaea (in office c. 26 – 36 CE), who ordered the
crucifixion of Jesus, allegedly against his better judgment.
And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him.
When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth.
Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King?
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross.
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate.
Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
