    Historical Drill Results

    Aeon Metals Ltd (“Aeon” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has undertaken a review

    of the historical drilling completed on the Walford Creek Project by its recently acquired subsidiary,

    Aston Metals (Qld) Limited, now named Aeon Walford Creek Limited (“Aston”).

    From 2010 and up to its acquisition by Aeon in June 2014, Aston was an unlisted public company controlled by Nathan Tinkler. As a result, none of the following data has been available to the public.

    Highlights of the historic drilling campaigns Table 1 below highlights some of the significant drill intercepts made by Aston during the drilling on

    the Walford Creek Project since 2010.

  • Figure 1, immediately below, illustrates a cross section of Walford Creek, highlighting the mineral

    intersections of historic hole number WFPD157 including:

    75m at 1.34% Cu, 0.18% Co, 1.89% Zn, 2.6% Pb and 81gpt Ag

    Figure 2, further below, illustrates the location of a number of historic drill sites including the above

    mentioned drill hole WFPD157 in relation to the 2014 drilling program.

    2014 Drilling Program extends the ore body The 2014 drilling program (currently in progress) was designed to achieve two results: step out

    drilling to establish the extent of the ore body; and, in-fill drilling to increase Aeon’s understanding

    of the existing ore body and establish the basis for an upgrade to the existing JORC Resource.

    To this end, the Company has announced the first results of this year's drilling program and the

    Board is highly encouraged by the results.

    Significantly, drill hole WFPD177, announced to the ASX on 28 August 2014, was a step-out hole

    designed to confirm the extension of the ore body and intercepted:

    Hole WFPD 177 35 metres averaging 1.0% Cu, 0.16% Co, 1.0% Pb, 0.7% Zn and 38g/t Ag

    from 291m Including:

    3 metres containing 4.6% Zn, 2.7% Pb and 80g/t Ag from 305m Including:

    15 metres containing 1.7% Cu, 0.22% Co, 1.4% Pb, 0.3% Zn and 43g/t Ag from 308m

    Summary of historical Walford Creek drilling operations Since 1989, Walford Creek has had:

    215 shallow holes drilled

    34,190m of drilling over 3 phases

    Over the period it was owned by Nathan Tinkler (2010 to 2014) Aston completed

    approximately 14,929m of drilling.

    No holes were drilled between the beginning of 2013 and the start of the current program in June 2014

    Table 2 below summarises the drilling programs undertaken by the various owners of the Walford Creek permits since 1989. Table 2: Historical Drilling Programs 1989-2012

    The results of these historic drilling programs was the definition of a JORC Resource1 summarised in

    Table 3 below.

    At 0.5% Cu-Eq cut off based on A$3.00/lb - Cu, A$0.75 /lb - Pb, A$0.75 /lb- Zn, A$30/oz – Ag. Recovery %: Cu - 95%, Pb/ Zn/ Ag / Co - 75%.The resource estimates are reported at a 0.5% copper equivalent above the -100mRL ie in the top 200m.

    About the 2014 Drilling Program Walford Creek 2014 drill program commenced on Monday 23 June with an RC rig initially utilised for pre-collar purposes of the deeper western holes. The first holes have been drilled to the west of Hole 157, which included 75m at 1.34% Cu, 0.18% Co, 1.89% Zn, 2.6% Pb and 81gpt Ag. A second diamond rig commenced drilling on the 5th July. Figure 3 below shows the 2014 drilling program holes and the historical holes listed in Table 1

    above.

  • The schematic cross section below in Figure 4 is from the current drill program (announced 2

    September 2014) and illustrates the highly prospective Mt Les Siltstone geological formation the

    Company is currently drilling at Walford Creek. The SEDEX style mineralisation is overprinted by

    structurally controlled Mississippi Valley late stage copper-cobalt style mineralisation controlled by

    the regionally extensive Fish River Fault which extends for over 25 kilometres through the Aeon

    tenements.

  • Competent Person Statement The data in this report that relates to Mineral Resource Estimates for the Walford Creek Deposit is based on information evaluated by Mr Simon Tear who is a Member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM) and who has sufficient experience relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as Competent Persons as defined in the 2012 Edition of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (the “JORC Code”). Mr Tear is a Director of H&S Consultants Pty Ltd and he consents to the inclusion in the presentation of the Mineral Resources in the form and context in which they appear. The information in this report that relates to Exploration Targets and Exploration Results for the Walford Creek

    Deposit is based on information compiled Mr Dan Johnson who is a Member of the Australian Institute of

    Geoscientists and who has sufficient experience relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under
