HOW TO CHANGE YOUR ADMIN AND WI-FI PASSWORDS

After having clicked on Ok, you will see the Change your Login Password web page. To change your login password, type the admin password (the one you used to log in to the LTE modem) in the Current password window. Afterward, type your new password in the New password window, and retype your new password in the Confirm password window. Finally, click on Apply.

After having clicked on Apply, you will see the Confirm dialogue box. Click on Cancel in this box. Only Tamaani personnel are authorized to configure the LTE modem.

The Device Website Address will forward you to the access page of the Huawei Smart Hub (your LTE modem) Web site. The user name is admin and should already be entered by default. The password is admin. Press enter or click on Ok.

After having completed the connection procedure, launch your internet browser. Type your Device Website Address. This information is located on the sticker on the bottom of the modem.

After having clicked on the Cancel button in the Confirm dialogue box, the Huawei site will bring you back to the home page. On this page, you will click on Settings in the main menu bar.

In the Settings web page, you will click on the WLAN (Wi-Fi) button on the left menu bar. In the drop down menu, you will choose WLAN Settings.

In the WPA pre-shared key box, erase the current modem Wi-Fi password, and replace it with a new one of your choice, and click on Apply.

Afterward, you will see the Confirm dialogue box, and then click on the OK button.

Scroll all the way down this page to find the WPA pre-shared key of your modem. This key is also referred on your modem sticker as the Wi-Fi password.

After having clicked on the WLAN Settings button, all the WLAN Settings will appear on the screen.

After having clicked on OK, a notice will inform you that the Wi-Fi connection is disconnected.

To reconnect to the Wi-Fi signal, redo the procedure shown in the How to connect your LTE Modem instruction manual. However, remember to use the new Wi-Fi password you have entered in the WPA pre-shared key when it asked for the Security key. Now, your LTE modem is reconnected, fully operational, and secure.
