CASH PREMIUMS: will be available on Park St. west of the main gate

• Monday - Saturday, September 3 – 8, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. • Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Monday, September 10, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. • After September 11, 2018 awards will be given out only during regular office hours

and may be picked up at the E.I.S.F. Main Office. Premiums not claimed by September 28, 2018 will be considered a donation and will revert back to the Fair’s general fund.

The fair will not be responsible for articles left after 7:00 p.m. on Monday September 10, 2018. There will be a Storage Fee on ALL entries left after the 3rd week of September. The charge will be $20 per week. SPECIAL DEPARTMENT RULES: A. Exhibitors may enter one item per class. NO article can be entered for competition

more than one year. Items must be made between September 2017 and August 2018, any item that does not meet this qualification will not be judged.

B. The EISF will not be responsible in any way for security of entries, but precautions will be taken to protect against breakage, theft, or damage of any kind.

C. Professional is defined as any person who has acquired a State Sale Tax number and/or has advertised his or her crafts in any form of mass communication media and/or received extensive formal training in their craft.

D. A person may not enter both amateur and professional in the same class. E. Use pencil to fill in your entry form *NO INK PEN* F. All articles need be ready for display (i.e. in frame, on corkboard) No

cardboard/cardstock allowed. Must be able to be moved and able to be displayed without needing additional support.

G. Awards will be made according to the merits of the entry. If no competition exists or if an entry is not worthy of 1st premium, the judge may disqualify or award 2nd, 3rd or 4th premiums at his or her discretion. Only one of each placing in any one class will be awarded unless otherwise specified. Where no competition exists but the judge deems the entry worthy of a blue ribbon, a ribbon will be awarded and entry will be entered for “Special Prizes”. NO premium will be paid if no competition exists.

H. The Superintendent reserves the right to limit the number of entries entered by an exhibitor.
