ENTRY FORM/TAGS: • Entry Forms will be available at time of entering. • There will NOT be any entry tags given out prior to entry day. RELEASE DATE: • Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (no exceptions) The fair will not be responsible for articles left after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8,

2019. There will be a Storage Fee on ALL entries left after the 3rd week of September. The charge will be $20.00 per week per item.

CASH PREMIUMS: will be available on Park Street-Payout Window (west of the main gate) • Monday - Saturday, September 2 – 7, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. After September 10, 2019 awards will be given out only during regular office hours and

may be picked up at the E.I.S.F. Main Office, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. E.I.S.F. Main Office will also be closed on September 13, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and will be closed on September 16, 2019 all day to observe Labor Day Holiday for employees. Premiums not claimed by September 30, 2019 will be considered a donation and will revert back to the Fair’s general fund.

SPECIAL DEPARTMENT RULES: A. Exhibitors may enter one item per class. NO article can be entered for competition more

than one year. Items must be made between September 2018 thru August 2019, any item that does not meet this qualification will not be judged.

B. The EISF will not be responsible in any way for security of entries, but precautions will be taken to protect against breakage, theft, or damage of any kind.

C. Professional is defined as any person who has acquired a State Sale Tax number and/or has advertised his or her crafts in any form of mass communication media and/or received extensive formal training in their craft.

D. A person may not enter both amateur and professional in the same class. E. Use pencil to fill in your entry form *NO INK PEN*. F. All articles need be ready for display (i.e. in frame, on corkboard) No

cardboard/cardstock allowed. Must be able to be moved and able to be displayed without needing additional support.

G. TWO EXHIBITS ENTERED BY THE SAME PERSON OR HOUSEHOLD DOES NOT CONSTITUTE COMPETITION IN THE SAME CATEGORY AND/OR DIVISION, AND WILL NOT BE JUDGED.

H. NO PREMIUM WILL BE PAID IF NO COMPETITION EXISTS – A COMPETITION CONSISTS OF A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) OR MORE ENTRIES IN A SINGLE DEPARTMENT CLASS.

I. Superintendent has the right to move an entry into a different class if the original entered class will not have enough entries for a competition to exist.

J. Superintendent will be the only person authorized to change class entries.

K. Awards will be made according to the merits of the entry. If the judge decides an entry is not worthy of 1st place, the judge may disqualify the entry or the judge can choose to award 2nd place, 3rd place, or 4th place premiums, this is at the judge’s discretion.

L. If there is no competition for an entry, but the judge still deems that the entry would have been worthy of a blue ribbon it can still be considered for any Department Special Awards.

M. Only one of each placing in any one class will be awarded, unless otherwise specified in Department Special Rules.

N. The Superintendent reserves the right to limit the number of entries entered by an exhibitor.
