SPONSORSHIP OVERVIEW Now in its 12 th year, the 2017 Hoboken International
Film Festival (“HIFF”) will be held May 19-25. This year Festival screenings and events will be held on the breathtaking lakeside beach at Thomas P. Morahan Park and other locations in Greenwood Lake, NY. An internationally recognized, extravaganza event, HIFF will showcase numerous film and TV stars, and the world’s most cutting edge films. HIFF continues to grow – in 2016 HIFF had over 1,500 film submissions from all over the world, and accepted under 150 (the competition is fierce). Over 15,000
people attended the festival. HIFF has had several Academy Award and Emmy winners and nominees, and numerous other fan-favorite celebrities, at screenings, award ceremonies and special events. HIFF is dedicated to premiering and promoting fine non-studio films, TV pilots, and screenplays from filmmakers throughout the United States and Internationally. HIFF competition categories include Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries and TV pilots. The best submissions are rewarded with cash prizes in nearly ten categories. HIFF has been called “one of the top ten best film festivals in the world!” We feature a celebrity jury comprised of Academy Award and Emmy winners, and
powerhouse partners that have included ShopRite, CBS-FM, Anheuser-Busch, iHeart Media, News 12, The Comfort Inn & Suites, FOX, TD Bank, Chevrolet, the New York Post, Panavision, and Coca-Cola. HIFF is a world- renowned film festival. We showcase the edgiest domestic and international movies and their filmmakers, HIFF will kick off May 19, 2017 with The Filmmakers Reception and The Opening Night Screenings. At HIFF’S Gala Awards Ceremony, noted as one of the best in the country for its Oscar-like class and fanfare - and hosted by star stand-up comedian/actor Gilbert Gottfried - legendary actors have personally accepted the HIFF Lifetime Achievement Award. Other past recipients include: The 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Cloris Leachman
(Academy Award and 19 -time Emmy winner & nominee). The 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award was
presented to Emmy nominee Billy Dee Williams (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the
Jedi, Lady Sings the Blues). The 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to
legendary actor Charles Durning (2-time Academy Award/4-time Golden Globe/ 9-time
Emmy winner and nominee). The 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be
another major, award-winning star and will be announced in early 2017.
HIFF also offers unique, star-studded special events. Some past special events
include: the “Keg Party Blowout & Screening” – featuring the movie “Beer League”
and a party with the movie’s filmmakers and stars including Artie Lange ("The Howard
Stern Show"); a series of films from Academy Award nominated actor Danny Aiello, as
well as a live concert by Aiello and his band; a series of Charles Durning films and
special screenings and parties with Durning.
HIFF awards the winning filmmakers with cash prizes in the following
categories: Best Feature Film; Best Director (Feature Film); Best Screenplay
(Feature Film); Best Actor (Feature Film); Best Actress (Feature Film); Best
Short Film; Best Documentary; Best TV Pilot; Best Unproduced Screenplay.
There are also awards given in several other categories, as well as a Grand
Prize (for Best Narrative Feature Film), with a distribution deal offer from a
top distributor.

KENNETH DEL VECCHIO, HIFF FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
Kenneth Del Vecchio is a critically acclaimed filmmaker who has written, produced and directed over 30
movies that star 100+ film and TV stars, including multiple Academy Award and Emmy winners and
nominees. His films are distributed through industry leaders such as NBC/Universal, Anchor Bay,
Millennium Entertainment, Cinedigm, Screen Media Films, Vivendi Entertainment, Midnight Releasing,

The Presenting Sponsorship is a singular opportunity for
one company. It provides that company with an elite
level of association with the Festival. Every mention of
the Hoboken International Film Festival will include
“presented by” credit for your company. In addition,

Festival in all radio ads on New York City’s WCBS-
FM, one of the nation’s biggest rock radio stations, as
well as in all iHeart Media radio ads. WCBS-FM has
reach across all of New York City, and substantial
parts of New York State, New Jersey and Connecticut.
iHeart Media, one of the largest radio networks in the
country, runs HIFF ads on several of their Hudson
Valley, NY affiliates.

Including all Newspaper Ads: The Presenting
Sponsor will have “presented by your Brand” on all
print media produced by HIFF, including all
newspaper ads. The All Print Media package includes
all Festival print marketing and media, including but
