AmyRose Tomlinson, House of Friends Special Project Director, traveled to Entebbe, Ug anda to attend the ―well dedication‖ on August 21 st . All Abba Home orphanage children, as well as attendees from the Tabernacle of Christ Church, a few from a neighboring village, and a couple of town counsel personnel attended the celebratory event. During the dedication service, Living WaterInternational spokes- persons, Abba Home Orphanage spokespersons (Pastor Richard Kaaya and his wife, Debra), and AmyRose shared with the crowd the story of the water project and how God provided the funds and personnel for the drilling of the clean water well. The Abba Home children dressed up and sang for all gathered. The project provided funds for a huge feast to end the big event! The funding that came in was sufficient to pay for the well, the dedication activities, a special meal for the children, clothes and school supplies for the children, and paint for David Anthony House of Refuge. Ivan, AmyRose’s Ugandan brother, translator, friend, and right-hand-man, assisted her in sanding, un der- coating, and painting all three bedrooms of David Anthony House of Refuge. The children were allowed to pick out the colors. They chose bright red, granny-smith g reen, and espresso! Those colors brought great joy to the children. In addition to all that was purchased and given out of project funds, AmyRose also arrived at the Abba House homes carrying an abundance of clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toys and books given by donors in the States.
