The main factor influencing the design approach is the magnificent location of the site. Situated at the crest of The Peak, the site offers a panoramic view to the north, from Central to Wanchai, and across the harbour to Tsimshatsui. The views to the south are equally appealing, down over rolling hills to the south coast of Hong Kong Island and Aberdeen.

Taking these principals, the five town houses are arrayed in a fan shaped pattern blossoming from south to north. This geometry maximizes the perimeter of the units and therefore the number of rooms overlooking Central and Wanchai to the north. Double height living rooms and all bedrooms enjoy the dramatic views to the north. By contrast the more pastoral views to the south over Aberdeen benefit the dining room/family room and study.

Sitting on the southern tip of Macau, the Bel Lago consists of two 175-meter-tall, high-end luxury residential towers with spectacular views over Macau and the South China Sea.

The interiors palette of rich tones and textures and the use of state-of-the-art fixtures exemplify the project’s contemporary design. Bel Lago residences can indulge in the fully-equipped clubhouse which consists of a large multi-function room, a cigar room, lounge, library, a full-function kitchen and show kitchen for entertainment. Recreational facilities include karaoke rooms, band/piano room, cyber room, children’s playroom and a private theater.

The interior spaces of Limelight Condominiums are designed to harmonize Daniels’ sustainable initiatives and brand positioning for the Limelight development, while introducing a new design approach to Mississauga.

Natural materials, such as stone and reclaimed wood, are used throughout the space in tandem with modern details and impactful colour, connecting the interior to the green space located around the building. Amenity levels have been carefully planned to enhance the sense of neighbourhood within the building, including a party room that leads to an expansive outdoor terrace, home theatre, media lounge, and a cardio centre that connects directly to a two-storey full court gym.

Embassy House is located in the Second Embassy District of Beijing just north ofDongzhimenwai Avenue. The project meets the requirements of a quality~conscious, primarily expatriate residential market, and provides the most prestigious address in this important international district of Beijing.

The proposed 32-story tower is designed to respect its immediate neighbours. The floor plan will provide each resident with south, east or west light. The exterior of the building is designed to complete a composition with the adjacent office building. The gently~curved residential tower and circular office tower have similar and complementary, yet individual geometries.

HOK is working with Bolsover Street Limited (BSL) – a joint venture between Ridgeford Properties and Manhattan Loft Corporation – on this £40 million mixed-use development in Bolsover Street, London.

The HOK scheme provides a 2,000 sq m medical building boasting a state-of-the-art out-patients facility that the RNOH will occupy. The development, which came with a design brief that called for a scheme that ‘enhanced and responded to the townscape’, includes 70 high-quality private apartments, 30 affordable apartments and 300 sq m of office space.

for a luxurious clubhouse to entertain

VIPs and guests. The clubhouse design

fuses Chinese and Thai influences,

taking advantage of breathtaking views

from a hilltop site in Zhuhai. Here, a

presidential duplex, dining areas, and

other suites are designed as stylistic

variations of the overall theme. Below, a

cigar and wine Bar, wine cellar, karaoke

and teahouse enjoy views of a sunken

garden courtyard.

Set amidst the vicinity of the Beijing Olympic masterplan venue, the residential development of La Forét aims to portray ideals of luxury private home ownership and contemporary aesthetics. A residential mix of stacked townhouses complemented by two resident clubhouses, the client’s brief was for an interior proposal that was complimentary to the architecture style, as well as marketable to the in-flux Beijing residential market.

Central Park I Central Park II

New Songdo City is a planned international business center being developed on 1,500 acres of reclaimed land along Incheon’s waterfront, 40 miles west of Seoul.

This multi-use development is phased construction to include a convention center, international school, museum, ecotarium, cultural center, retail malls, Northeast Asia trade Tower (NEATT), extensive parks and a large component of residential and mixed-use projects.

Adjacent to the Convention Center Hotel on the northeastern corner of New Songdo City’s Central Park, the design is comprised of two residential towers of 45- and 50-stories rising above an urban street edge of three-storey commercial and retail buildings. The twisting form of the towers are generated by a unique architectural solution to the interior planning that builds a honeycomb structural grid, creating 20-meter plus spans for the units with no columns to restrict the resident’s space planning. These signature designs will become the prime residential addresses within New Songdo City.

HOK was commissioned by US developer, Hines, to masterplan and design a luxury residential project on a prime Beijing site located adjacent to Chaoyang Park. The goal of this project is to develop international quality private housing for the capital’s burgeoning population of professionals - many of whom have been educated and worked extensively abroad. To cater to this market, HOK was asked to focus on the residents and to create a seamless lifestyle experience which integrates luxury accommodation, spacious landscaping and generous amenities including retail, dining, shopping, services and a resident’s clubhouse.

A luxury show-apartment for a premiere residential development, St. George Apartments, raises the bar for luxury and convenience. Unique, fashionable and meticulously designed, this penthouse suite is the epitome of contemporary style. Employing clean modern furnishings and a tonal palette, the unit is accented by rich dark woods. Subtle indirect lighting emphasizes openness, comfort and elegance. The design incorporated an open-plan kitchen and transformation of the bathrooms to increase the sense of space and light. The limestone-clad feature staircase acts as the central spine of the house linking the floors up to the penthouse roof deck.

Located adjacent to Qatar’s largest shopping mall, this five-plus-star hotel looks directly over the Gulf. Guest rooms are generously sized at 172 square feet. VIP apartments have two to four bedrooms. At the top of the 43-storey hotel is the 150-seat Xian Restaurant, themed on China’s Terracotta Army, with a dramatic view of the Gulf. Other restaurants include an Argentinian-themed steak house and Lobby bar. The hotel also includes a ballroom, meeting facilities and Shangri La’s own branded Chi Spa.

Luxury residential interior design services for a clubhouse with an area of 2,500sq.m. and three show flats including one penthouse unit and two 4-bedroom.

From inception of the project our aim was to create an oasis within an urban setting; a high-end, total living experience, managed by a concierge style approach. Tian An Park Apartments was designed with complete resort style clubhouse facilities in the podium level of this boutique development. The strong attention to detail in the apartment units combined with a clean contemporary palette and high end fittings, were conceptualized to compliment each tenant’s individual styles.

One McKinley Place is a landmark building which forms an impressive gateway to Fort Bonifacio from the luxurious Forbes Park District. It also marks HOK’s third residential tower in the new city, occupying a prominent position within the newly developing Global City skyline. The tower is a 43 storey luxury residential complex which features the open views across the golf course through a curvilinear glass and stainless steel curtain wall whilst the city view presents a well delineated stone facade broken at grade by a two storey glass atrium entrance. The tower sits on a two storey podium housing amenities such as a restaurant and business centre.

Providing optimum residential accommodation in Fort Bonifacio’s protected green belt, this 34-story tower houses 90 of the most luxurious apartments within the Bonifacio Global City masterplan. The typical layout has three high-end apartments per floor, whilst the two-storey penthouse suites savor generous terraces and private plunge pools, with unobstructed views of Laguna de bay, East Antipolo Mountains and the Ortigas skyline. The apartments each have an approximate floor area of 300 sq. m., whilst the six superb, double height penthouses that crown the development hava a minimum floor area of 400 sq. m.
