All those Christmas puddings and sweet toothed stocking fillers doesn’t exactly leave you starting the New Year feeling like Beyonce.

The solution?WORK OUT.Here’s a little inspiration from John F. Kennedy to get you started –

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”

Out with the old, in with the new! Throw away those old clothes stuffed at the back of the closet! If you didn’t wear them in 2014, you won’t wear them in 2015! Besides, boxing day sales are fast approaching, and you need closet space for all those Topshop bags.

“New year, new me!” is everyone’s thoughts when New Year begins to approach. You can start off by changing your look – get a haircut! Whether it’s just a trim or a daring chop, say yes to a new you!

If you like it, put a ring on it – or don’t! If it’s been more than two years and you’re still wondering whether you’re with the right person or not, it’s time to move on. When in doubt…end it. If it was worth putting a ring on, you wouldn’t be having doubts in the first place.

Remember, you have just as many hours in the day as Beyonce! So yes, you too can drop an album, break a record, become a feminist, marry a millionare, give birth to a child and still have a smoking hot body… - you get the picture.

Break bad on those box sets – literally. Breaking bad is the most talked about series EVER, and well deservingly so. Not only does it’s dark humour and wittiness keep you interested enough to watch an entire box set in one weekend, it stars aaronpaul. AARON FREAKING PAUL.

Reunite with forgotten friends (and foes)– tis the season to be jolly, so if there’s someone you haven’t spoken to a while but you’re thinking about this time of the year? Be the bigger person and call them.

Buy a pet – Whether you don’t already have one, have one, or even a collection, why not buy a furry (or not) friend? They’re cute and cuddly enough to keep you company this February. What?! I need someone to come to watch Fifty Shades Of Grey with me!

Read Fifty Shades of Grey – if you haven’t already, you need to start NOW. And if you already have, READ IT AGAIN. The movie is being released on valentines day, and you don’t want to miss out on Jamie Dornan playing Christian Grey. That’s right. JAMIE FREAKING DORNAN.

Make 2015 everything you didn’t in 2014 – remember you might not be lucky enough to live for 2016, so party this year like it’s your last! Go to that festival you’ve always wanted to but thought you were too old for, start your own business, try a new cuisine.
