HOLIDAY PROGRAMMEINFORMATION
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• All bookings must be paid for in advance.
• Any child absences must be advised prior to 8am on the day of the absence. We require at least one weeks notice of any absence to avoid being charged for that session/s..
• Numbers are strictly limited for each session, please ensure you get your booking in early to avoid missing out.
• A penalty fee will be charged for any late pick-ups.
• School’s Out reserves the right to change the programme being offered at any time without notification due to circumstances outside of our control.
• Please do not send any ill children to the programme as we do not have the facilities to care for them. If a child becomes unwell during the programme, parents will be called to collect their child. If we are on a trip, it will be the parent’s responsibility to collect the child from that location.
• Any medication required for your child must be handed to a School’s Out staff member upon arrival and recorded.
• If a child’s behaviour, or the level of supervision required for an individual child, is such that it compromises the safety of the child, other children or staff, School’s Out reserves the right to exclude that child from the programme.
• On occasion we will be watching PG-rated movies with the children at the cinema. Parental consent is required prior to the watching of these movies - please note, the signing of the enrolment form will be recognised as parental consent.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONTINUED...
• Staff make every attempt to minimise the amount of lost property. Please assist us by naming everything your child brings to the programme.
• Some of our School’s Out programmes cannot allow nuts or nut-based products in the centres due to child allergies.Please check with the Programme Manager prior to bringing any nuts or nut-based products into the centre..
• Children are asked not to bring valuable items to the programme unless stipulated. School’s Out will not be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
• Food, water bottle, footwear and a sunhat are required each day and a suitable jacket is carried in Winter.
• Rash shirts are compulsory for any water-based activities.
• A full copy of our Policies and Procedures is available upon request.

Did you know that subsidies are available from Work and Income NZ for children attending School’s Out Before & After School care and Holiday Programmes? To find out more information please

Please note you are responsible for the application and cancellation of your WINZ subsidy for each term and each school holiday period. School’s Out does not take
responsibility for the management of your WINZ subsidy.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• It is your responsibility to be aware of what activities are being planned for the day. Please take note of departure times for trips and any additional equipment required (swimwear, money, devices etc)
• Please ensure your child has enough food for the day and a refillable drink bottle with them.
• For trip days, please ensure your child has extra food for morning and afternoon tea.
• Please make sure you sign your child In and Out each day.
• Please ensure your child has spare clothing and a rain jacket. The weather can change rapidly in NZ.
• Please wear suitable footwear for the activity planned, some activities will require covered in footwear to be worn.
• Hats are a must everyday during Summer months.
