• Residents of Florida are protected from the dangers of secondhand smoke in virtually all workplaces because of a supported constitutional amendment

• Secured funding for Florida’s youth tobacco prevention program and smoking cessation assistance

• Lead the legislative campaign to increase the state’s tobacco tax by $1 per pack

We support American Cancer Society’s Research, Advocacy, Education, and Services!

Where Does the Money Go?Services: Financial Assistance

• Financial Assistance is available for cancer patients who are experiencing a financial hardship due to their diagnosis including resources that may assist with pain medication, transportation and lodging.

• Hope Lodges are available where cancer patients can stay free of charge while receiving outpatient treatment.
