Holy Cross Catholic School News April 2017
Virtue: Justice
Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.
Blessed Mother Teresa
Dear Holy Cross Families,
Spring is here and with it comes new life and new beginnings. This month we celebrate Easter which represents the fulfillment of God’s
promise to us, Jesus’ resurrection. You are welcome to join us as we celebrate mass as a school community on April 20th at 9:30am.
I feel very fortunate that my new beginning comprises of joining the Holy Cross School Community. Thank you for the warm welcome over these past couple of weeks. I al-ready feel part of the community and that is thanks to the wonderful students, staff and parents.
Please take a look at the calendar in order to see all the exciting things taking place at Holy Cross. As we look ahead to April we hope our grade eight students have a great learning experience and safe trip to Ottawa.
I am looking forward to continuing to meet Holy Cross School Community members with each passing day.

An Easter Reflection
Lord, the resurrection of Your Son
will give us new life and renewed hope.
Help us to live as new people in pursuit
of the Catholic teachings of Jesus
and of the example He set for us.
Grant us wisdom to know what we must do,
the will to want to do it,
the courage to undertake it,
the perseverance to continue to do it,
and the strength to complete it.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Easter.

Snacks should not contain any type of nut product such as peanuts, almonds, cashews, peanut butter, Nutella, etc.
Also, please remind your child to not share his/her snack or lunch.
Let’s all do our part to keep our students safe.
