Holy Guacamole!Everyone has a unique approach to this traditional Mexican meal complement.

We like to feature Tabasco, Cilantro and Chipotle Chile powder in ours!

Prep time: 10 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients 4 ripe avocados

4-5 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1 teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic

salt)

Dash each of kosher salt and

ground pepper

10-12 grape or cherry tomatoes

(halved)

1 teaspoon olive oil

Tabasco to taste Cooks note: (bottled lime juice can be substituted for fresh limes – but fresh is preferred)

PreparationRemove avocado fruit meat

from the skin and pit

In a medium mixing bowl gently mash with a fork

Add olive oil and garlic powder

Add balance of ingredients, mix and taste test

Add seasonings based on your taste (don’t be bashful with the Tabasco and Chipotle Chile powder!)

Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and salsa!
