May 12 - DepartYour pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on an overnight flight.

May 13 - Arrive and overnight in GalileeYou will be welcomed at the Tel Aviv airport by our representativebefore you transfer to your hotel in the Galilee to enjoy dinner andovernight.

May 14 - Mount Arbel, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Nof GinosarTravel to Mount Arbel where you can spend some time in reflectionwith a stunning view of the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum, centerof Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee, and visit the synagogue built on thesite where Jesus taught (Matt.4:13, 23). On the Mount ofBeatitudes, contemplate the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matt. 5-7).Overnight in Galilee.

May 15 - Mount Carmel, Tel Megiddo, Mount Gilboa, Yardenit BaptismView Mount Carmel and recall Elijah’s dramatic victory over theprophets of Baal (I Kings 18). Tel Megiddo, where 20 different citieslie superimposed upon each other, and where Solomon built hisstables. Visit Gideon’s Spring (Jd. 7) and, Mount Gilboa (2 Sam.1:19-27). You will view the mountain and see that, to this day, MountGilboa is bare of trees. Remember your baptism at the Jordan River’sYardenit Baptismal site (Matthew 3). Head back to your Galilee hotelfor dinner and overnight.

May 16 - Jericho, Qumran, Masada, Dead SeaHead to Jericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshuaconquered (Josh. 6:20). Off in the distance, you can see thetraditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matt. 4:1). Next stop isQumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947 by aBedouin shepherd. Enjoy a visit to intriguing Masada, thespectacular mountaintop fortress built by Herod that later becamethe final tragic stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against theRomans. Ride the cable car to the top to explore the fortress andlook down upon the remains of the Roman camps and siege rampbelow. On the way back to Jerusalem, stop at the shores of the DeadSea, the lowest spot on earth, for an opportunity to take a quick dipin the mineral-laden waters. Overnight in Jerusalem.

May 17 - Bethlehem, Shepherd's Fields, Nativity Church, Yad VashemIn Bethlehem, visit the cave where Jesus was born (Matthew 1:18)and the Church of the Nativity built there. Gaze out over ShepherdsField, where angels first proclaimed the Good News. Visit YadVashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial, with its poignant exhibitshonoring the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust. Overnightin Jerusalem.

May 18 - Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Mount Zion, IsraelMuseum/ModelStand on the Mount of Olives for a remarkable view of Jerusalem(the Golden City) and where Jesus stood before ascending intoheaven forty days after His resurrection (Acts 1:9-12). In the KidronValley across from the walls of Jerusalem, pray as Jesus did in theGarden of Gethsemane (Matt.26:36). Continue to Mount Zion to visitthe House of the High Priest Caiaphas where Jesus was questionedthe night of His betrayal (Matt. 26: 57). Explore the Israel Museumwith its First Century Model of the City of Jerusalem. Anotherhighlight is the museum’s Shrine of the Book exhibit showcasing theDead Sea Scroll book of Isaiah. Overnight in Jerusalem.

May 19 - City of David, Western Wall, Southern Steps, Rabbis TunnelTour the excavations of the City of David. Walk the steps to the Poolof Siloam, recently uncovered at the foot of the City. ExploreHezekiah's Tunnel, an amazing engineering feat that was dug fromeither end and met in the middle! (Note: Those who areclaustrophobic may want to meet the group at the other end of thetunnel!). Peer down Warren's Shaft, thought to have served as afresh water drawing point for the city and could have been how Joabentered the city and opened it to David's forces(2 Samuel 5:6-8).Spend time in prayer at the Western Wall (the only remnant of theSecond Temple of Jerusalem) and sit on the Teaching Steps whereJesus taught. Overnight in Jerusalem. We will also visit the Rabbi'sTunnel where we will walk through one of the tunnels where thereligious leaders say the Ark of the Covenant and other importantJewish artifacts are hidden.

May 20 - Temple Mount, Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Church ofthe Holy Sepulchre, Garden Tomb Begin the day at the Garden Tomb, share communion together andexperience the reality of the Resurrection. Conditions permitting,walk the Temple Mount, once the site of the Temple of Solomon andhome to the Dome of the Rock. See where Jesus healed on theSabbath at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5: 1-31). Walk the ViaDolorosa, "the Way of the Cross" to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,built over the traditional sites of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus.

May 21 - Return to USADepart the Holy Land with a new sense of Jesus’ life and ministry.Return home with images that will reappear everytime we open ourBibles.
