CANCELLED 7:00 am Mass - SCM Church

There will be a 9:00 am Mass at OLS

Church. This Mass is celebrated in honor

of the men and women who served in the

Armed Forces. We will pray for the repose

of the souls of those who died in any of the

United Stated Military campaigns.

For veterans and for those in service today,

we will pray that they will know God’s

presence in their lives and our thanks.

Following Mass, we will journey to the

cemetery and gather at the large Crucifix.

We will pray for the deceased of our families

and for all who are buried in the cemetery

We wish everyone a safe and

happy holiday!

Father Glen and Father Emilio will attend the Diocesan Priest Retreat,

June 4th through June 8th.

Adult Faith Formation : Happiness

Tuesday Nights 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Wednesday Mornings 10:00 - 11:00 am

Join us for our new adult series!

We will move through six sessions dealing with

unhappiness and depression then to

evidence for transcendence and eternal life.

We will examine the Resurrection of Christ

and finally learn how to properly deal with

and benefit from suffering. Attend either the

morning sessions or the evening sessions.

2018 CCW Scholarship

The Holy Spirit Council of Catholic Women Sponsors a $1000 scholarship to an active female member of Holy Spirit Catholic community who is graduating from Rock Springs High School, Black Butte High School or a Rock Springs Home School Program. Applications can be picked up from the Holy Spirit Pastoral Center at 116 Broadway. The application is due back to the office by June 22, 2018.

2018 - 2019 school year. Scholarships are available for

qualified applicants. We invite prospective families to visit the school.

The Rachel Rosary will be prayed

at the OLS Church

This rosary is prayed for victims of post-abortion

syndrome, and to pray for the end of abortion.

MASS OF ANOINTING

The Mass with Anointing of the Sick will be on

Saturday, June 2nd 9:00 am at SCM Church.

This provides families a wonderful opportunity to bring an aged or infirm family member for

anointing and to join them in prayer.

What a wonderful way to fulfill the 4th Commandment of “Honor thy father & mother and extended family.” Join us in prayer for the healing grace of Anointing of the Sick.

June 8, is the World Day of Sanctification for Priests. On that day, the Diocese of Cheyenne will celebrate the priestly ordination of Deacon Clark Lenz and

Deacon Bryce Lungren. Bishop Steven will preside at a Holy Hour at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 7 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Cheyenne. If possible, please come to this special

prayer for those to be ordained and for all of our priests.

June 8th the people throughout the Diocese

are encouraged to pray at their local churches, or in your homes or work places, for those being ordained to the priesthood

and all our priests.
