The Holy Temple of Nzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Masonic Rite, Sanctus Illuminatuswas established as a Universal Religious Organization:

(1) to maintain a Universal Center of Spiritualism for the religious worship and todisseminate information for the spiritual and religious practice of the Afro-Brazilian religious faiths of the American Candomble, Gnostic Orthodox Rite andthe American Quimbanda, Gnostic Orthodox Rite,

(2) to establish and maintain a sacred library archive and museum of religious relics,religious art work, religious traditions and spiritual practices found on Earth andthat exists throughout the greater Universe

(3) toassist individuals with discovering their spiritual path through the study ofcomparative religions and magical practices found and practiced throughout the

world,(4) to promote information about religious intolerance & religious discriminationand the legal rights of victims,

(5) to promote a Universal World Community,

(6) to organize and participate in both International and Community Inter-FaithCounsels,

(8) to promote the spiritual philosophy and practice of a Universal religion andspiritual practice for all people of the World and the greater Universe,

(13) to provide a prison ministry program for the incarcerated to promote theAmerican Quimbanda, Gnostic Orthodox Rite religious tradition,

(14) to provide spiritual services for the incarcerated when released and promotepositive change through spirituality and self-transformation,

(15) to provide a shelter for the homeless,

(16) to provide a court mandated transitional living home/facility for thoseindividuals who are currently incarcerated and must seek out a court mandated

program as part of their parole conditions,

(17) to provide various court mandated programming and services to the community,

(18) to provide a thrift store of donated clothing and other miscellaneus items for theunderprivelleged,

(19) to research and study the occult sciences through alternative forms of scientificinvestigation and experimentation,

(20) to document through writings and video film documentaries the study of theoccult sciences, the paranormal and supernatural happenings and experiences,

(21) to establish a Botanical Gardens of herbs, plants and trees which historicallyhave been classified as both medicial and magickal.

FIRST AMENDMENT of the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTIONCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, orprohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, orof the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petitionthe Government for a redress of grievances.

The Imperial Grand Master

The Imperial Grand Master of the Holy Temple of Nzambi, GnosticOrthodox Rite, Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Galdiano Montenegrois an initiatedmember of the Candombl de Angola and Afro-Brazilian religious traditions.In 1985 Carlos Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Galdiano Montenegro traveled toBrazil to research Portuguese culture and Afro-Brazilian spirituality and

during the time that he spent there became initiated into the "sacredmysteries" of Afro-Brazilian spirituality. The Family of the Imperial GrandMaster, Holy Temple of Nzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Rite, Carlos Antonio DeBourbon Galdiano Montenegro are historically attributed and recognized byreligious scholars and historians with introducing and bringing theCandombl de Angola and Quimbanda religious tradition into the UnitedStates of America which they brought with them from the Cape VerdeIslands and Brazil in the late 1800's and the early 1900's.

In the year of 2003, the Imperial Grand Master of the Holy Temple ofNzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Rite, Carlos Antonio De Bourbon GaldianoMontenegro Author founded the American Candombl Church, GnosticOrthodox Rite in order to preserve the unique folkloric and historicalGnostic African religious traditions and beliefs of his Families "Afro-European Heritage". The American Candombl Church, Gnostic OrthodoxRite became the first non-profit religious organization recognized in theUnited States of America for the religious practices of Candombl de Angola

and Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda outside of the country of Brazil. The practiceof Afro-Brazilian Spiritualism and religion has been a part of the Author'sFamily since 1864. The present day American Quimbanda Gnostic OrthodoxRite religious tradition of the American Candombl Church represents a 150year old continuous "Religious Lineage" in Candombl de Angola and Afro-Brailian Quimbanda religous traditions.

A letter of the Imperial Grand Master

Thirty years ago I set out on a Spiritual Journeyinto the realms of an unseen

world of the supernatural and the occult sciences. I became a spiritualexplorer in search of scientific evidence to prove that this verymisunderstood world of invisible dimensions of multiplicity was in fact a partof the inner and outer consciousness of man, a place where few have traveledto and exist just beyond the world of the living and the dead.My Spiritual Journey in the world of the Occult Sciences has taken me toomany areas of the world in Search to know and to discover the truth. Some

thirty years later I have now arrived at my destination and would like toshare my thoughts and my experiences with you in my writings and thefollowing books and publications.The following Brochure of Membership represent the findings of this sacred

journey and my spiritual observations of a colored world of darkness that is asurreal dimension which holds the secrets of the Universe and the origin ofMan. As we have entered into the New Age of Aquarius and the end of theyear approaches us, it is a sacred celebration of the re-birth of the Earth and

Man.

I would like to share a letter that I wrote this year to the Holy CongregationoftheAmerican Candomble Church, Gnostic Orthodox Rite. Although I wrote thisletter to our religious clergy, the Universal Spiritual Principles can be sharedby all faiths universally.How should we be when we approach the Universal God? What type of

aspirations should we be striving for in this world and how do we acquirethem in order to have life everlasting? The answer my brothers and sisters ofspiritualism is in acts of true charity and deeds of pure goodness andkindness. The Supreme Creator is all powerful and knows the failings of eachof his creations here on Earth and for that reason; he is forgiving of ouroffenses when we truly strive to be on the path of light. The path of light isnot easy and many times we will place the blame on others rather than

ourselves. We must realize that each and every one of us has been given theopportunity to know our celestial destiny through the trials and tribulationsof past and present life. The Universal God knows this and that is why heregenerates our soul upon death for those of us who have not achieved

enlightenment. The soul returns back to earth in order that each of us willrealize our destiny, purpose and the ultimate act of spiritual enlightenment.This is my brothers and sisters the ultimate act of spiritual enlightenment.This brothers and sisters is the ultimate Divine Act of forgiveness of theUniversal God so that will do not fall short from realizing this goal anddestiny. Once we realize this, we will be spiritually elevated and closer to thelight and oneness with the Universal God To be kneeling at the feet of Godis spiritual enlightenment in the purest form."The path to this spiritual enlightenment is not simple and you willmost certainly be met by opposition by opposing energies anddisruptive negative individuals who will challenge your faith, yourbeliefs and your spiritual foundation".....

Many times individuals will be fooled and tempted by underdevelopedspiritual entities which only seek to destroy the development of our soul andthe foundation of mankind. It is for that reason that the Universal God in

his Divine Mercy and Divine Love sent the Gnostic Saints (spiritualguides) to us from Heaven to guide us and intercede on our behalf to theAlmighty and the Ancestors. This is the purest form of unconditional lovethat you will find. We must also pray for our brothers and sisters who havefallen from the path of light and extend a helping hand. To the UniversalGod, the pain of losing the soul to entities of darkness is the same as thefeeling of losing a loved one in death. This brothers and sisters leaves theheart of the Universal God saddened.In this world, we must always constantly nourish our souls. The soul canonly be nourished by doing works of goodness and charity and byreflecting on our inner and outer being through positive thoughts andmediation. The Spirit of the Universal God which surrounds each andevery one of us feels happiness when we do works of goodness withoutexpecting a reward. We should only be happy that the Universal God has

THE AMERICAN QUIMBANDA RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY

The American Quimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Rite religious tradition is

monotheistic. Monotheism is the belief in the existence of one Supreme God.Religious initiates of the American Quimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Ritereligionrefer to Him as Nzambi or Nzambi Mpungu, "Almighty God of the GreatCelestial Mysteries and the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth". In the

American Quimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Rite religious tradition, God is alsoreferred to as Nzambi Ntoto.

In the religious context of our religious theology, the word Nzambi Ntoto

means "God Who touched and walked the Earth". The religious initiates ofAmerican Quimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Rite also refer to God as NdalaKaritanga(God who created Himself) and Sa Kalunga(Lord Endless, Infiniteand Supreme God), after having created the world and everything in it.Although many religious practitioners of American Quimbanda,GnosticOrthodox Ritewould consider its religious philosophy as monotheistic, thereare many elements of pantheism which have been incorporated within theconfines of the belief of one true God. Pantheism is the view that theUniverse (Nature) and God are identical and that the essence of God is found

within the Cosmos as an all-encompassing unity and the sacredness ofNature. There has been in recent years much debate and confusion about the

American Quimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Ritereligion as being polytheistic, butit is not. It is difficult to delineate from notions such as pantheism andmonotheism. The confusion comes from the lack of understanding betweenthe concepts of the term worship and the term veneration. Worship is anact of religious devotion usually directed to one or more deities. Venerationis a special act of honoring a saint: a dead person who has been identified as

singular in the traditions of the religion. In the world of AmericanQuimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox Rite, we worship God and venerate the deities orspirits (Nkisi). Catholics venerate the angelic spiritual beings called angels.Catholics also venerate the saints, (among them Mary), as human beings whohad remarkable qualities, lived their faith in God to the extreme and arebelieved to be capable of interceding in the process of salvation for others;however, Catholics do not worship them as gods. There are other examples

of monotheistic religions such as Christianity which embrace the concepts ofa plurality of the divine; for example, the Trinity, in which God is one beingin three eternal persons (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit).Additionally, most Christian churches teach Jesus to be two natures (divine

and human), each possessing the full attributes of that nature, withoutmixture or intermingling of those attributes. Although there can be found inthe African continent as well as many other places of the world the belief inpolytheistic religious beliefs and practices, the concept of monotheism in theancient African continent has existed for over 8500 years and its concept isnot new. The practice of monotheism in Africa predates the birth ofChristianity. Most of the fear and misunderstanding about the AmericanQuimbanda,Gnostic Orthodox RiteandAmerican Candomblereligious traditionscome from individuals who have a lack of understanding about the religiousphilosophy of African cultures and their sacred traditions. The word deity and the word spirit for those practicing traditional

The word spiritual being can be defined asan incorporeal being believed to have powers to affect the course of humanevents. The word incorporeal means having no material body or form. Theword angelic being can be defined as a benevolent celestial being that actsas an intermediary between Heaven and Earth. This concept is the same asthe veneration of the angels and the Saints by Roman Catholics. WHAT IS A GNOSTIC MASONIC RITE LODGE?

A Gnostic Orthodox Masonic Rite Lodge, often termed a Spiritual Lodge or

Magickal Lodge, is the basic organizational unit of the Grand Lodge of the HolyTemple of Nzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Masonic Rite, Sanctus Illuminatus. Everynew Lodge must be warranted or chartered by both the Imperial Grand Lodgeand the local Grand Lodge, but is subject to its direction only in enforcing thepublished Constitution of the jurisdiction.

A Gnostic Orthodox Masonic Rite Freemason is generally entitled to visit anySpiritual Lodge, in any jurisdiction (i.e. under any Grand Lodge) in amity

with his own but the individual initiate to do so must have attained theOrder's third degree).

The initiate desiring to visit another Spiritual Lodgeis first usually requiredto check, and certify, the regularity of the relationship of the Spiritual Lodge-and be able to satisfy that Spiritual Lodgeof his regularity of membership.

Initiates of the Holy Temple of Nzambi, Gnostic Orthodox Masonic Rite, SanctusIlluminatus do not gather together at a Spiritual Lodge, they gather

together as a Spiritual Lodge to work the ten basic Degrees of the GnosticOrthodox Masonic Rite, Sanctus Illuminatusreligious order.
