about Himself
• It is not a teaching

FATHER
SON HOLY SPIRIT
• Access to the Father can only occur through the Son
• Anyone who loves Christ and obeys Him, the Father will love him and dwell with him
• Son shared the glory with the Father before the world began
• Proceeds from the Father• Testifies of the Son• The Advocate who will
teach believers about the Trinity
• Christ is the way, the truth and the life

lifetime• Both had the same crown and shared
the same glory PSALM 110:1

are in capital letters in the Hebrew• Jesus revealed the mystery of Psalm 110• First Lord is God the Father and the
second Lord is God the Son • Jesus has the same glory as the Father• Jesus is the Son of David and the
Lord of David
MATTHEW 22:44
“THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD”

a sacrifice for the atonement of sin
• Dove served as a guide to lost ships
NEW TESTAMENT PROPHECY• Holy Spirit took the
shape of a dove to prophecy Son is an acceptable sacrifice

• Abraham saw the day of the Lord Jesus Christ (in Genesis 22)
• When he saw the lamb in the thicket, Abraham saw Jesus and he believed.
• “Before Abraham was born, I AM” (I AM The I AM – Egoemi (means I AM the Being) in Greek)
JOHN 8: 52-58
POINT III
• If we do not know the Holy Trinity, we have no life and we cannot worship.
• 1 Corinthians 12God sent Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and to give us a new nature to be worthy to be given the Holy Spirit.
• We can then know the Trinity so we can have eternal life NOW.
• Eternal life – it is not a place or time; it’s in a person
• John 3:16 Without knowing the Holy Trinity you can’t know the love of God for each one of us.
THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT ALONE CAN WE UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERY OF THE HOLY TRINITY
POINT III
I’m not awaiting death to see eternal life, I’m seeing it now.
• Without knowing the Holy Trinity we can’t worship through the liturgy.
• Our call is to be the son of God through adoption. To reach our future – the bosom of the father. |
• Every liturgy- we are to be received in the bosom of the Father.
• Every liturgy we receive the Holy Spirit to purify us and make us worthy to receive the Son of God (the Body) and b/c Holy Spirit and the Son is one with the Father, we now enter the circle of the Trinity.
POINT III
What is eternal life?To know the Holy Trinity
How do we gain eternal life?Hebrews 2:9-18Jesus is our older brother, saving us andguiding all of us to be one with Him and His father
What are some of the models/analogies to understand the Holy Trinity ?MarriageThe Church Fire
POINT III
What are some of the models of the Holy Trinity ?Marriage

POINT III
What are some of the models of the Holy Trinity ?Fire
Fire Heat Light
Same nature, different manifestations
POINT III
What are some of the models of the Holy Trinity ?Fire
• The fire gave birth to light and heat, but there’s no relationship/love between fire’s light and heat
•BUT if we believe in a living God, God gave birth to His Son and to His Spirit – all have the same Godhead and this is the Mystery.
• God loved His Son and loved His Spirit. God created us to receive eternal life. He created man to enter the relationship the holy eternity and man to be in the likeness of His Son.
• Father loved the Son and Spirit before the ages – we don’t have a language to explain this relationship; the Lord created us so we can have sons, so we can taste the type of relationship that the Trinity enjoys. He adopted us to be like His Son. Our goal is to be Jesus Christ.
