What a week we have had. Our thoughts are with all families throughout NSW that

are experiencing hardship as a result of the fires. Thank you to our wonderful

community for your support and understanding as our school closed for operations.

The safety of our students and families is always at the front of our thoughts.

Mulgoa has been a very busy place of late, most recently our 3/4 class, along with Mr

Favaloro, went to the stage 2 camp at Yarramundi. The photos were fantastic and

everyone had a great time! Our K-2 students have also been out and about visiting

the animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park. We had a wonderful time and all of the

children behaved beautifully. A big thank you to all of the staff for their hard work

and hours of preparation to make our camps and excursions a success for the

students!!

On Monday we held our Remembrance Day assembly and paused to remember our

service men and women who have served and are currently serving our country.

Thank you to all of our children for their respect and reflection during this important

assembly.

P&C News - We hope you can join us at the next P&C meeting on Wednesday, 4th

December at 7:30pm. President: Sammy Simmons. Vice President: Luke Murphy. Treasurer: Gillian

Podsiadly. Secretary: Kathryn Mitchell. Canteen Supervisors: Louise Treanor and Brittany Frazer.

Important Messages

* All bronze, silver and gold awards for our Presentation day are due to

the office by Thursday 21st November. If you are unsure please see Mrs

Stanczyk or Mrs Nix in the office.

* Invitations for our Parent/Family helper Morning Tea have been sent home.

Please RSVP as soon as possible. We look forward to sharing a morning

with you as our way of thanking you for your help in 2019!

* Swim school notes have been sent home today. We will accept notes and

payment from Monday morning . Please note - CASH ONLY.

* Notes have been sent home with children regarding our Science Fair. Our

science fair is always a fabulous morning for the students to share with

family and friends. Please see Miss Woodcroft if you have any questions.

* If your child is absent from school please ensure they bring a note in

explaining their absence the day they return. Alternatively you can ring/

email the school informing us of your child’s absence. Thank you.

* A reminder that all children need to bring a SCHOOL hat to school each

day. Mulgoa has a ‘no hat, no play’ policy and children without hats will

be directed to our passive games under the COLA.

* Please add our Presentation Day date to your diary, Monday, 16th

December. Our Presentation Day assembly is a lovely opportunity for us to

recognise the learning in each class over the year. We love to see our

family and friends share the morning with us!

* To keep updated make sure you check our School website for dates and

all notes. Our Facebook page also has photos and updates for our families

and friends!
