The Arizona Housing Finance Authority (AzHFA), acting on behalf of the Arizona Department of Housing, provides affordable housing opportunities to all Arizonans. The AzHFA “HOME Plus”Mortgage Loan Origination Program provides a mortgage with a down payment assistance (DPA) grant up to 5% of the mortgage amount. DPA is only available in conjunction with a HOME
• Mortgage for the purchase of Owner occupied, Primary Residences only.• Borrower Income not to exceed $89,088.• All homebuyers are required to complete a homebuyer education course, either online at: www.mgichome.com or through a HUD-approved homebuyer education provider.• Both FHA and Conventional loan versions of the DAP are available with some geographic
restrictions. The fees vary depending on which program the grant is paired with.

Sample Conventional Loan Scenario: $200,000 purchase price, $190,000 loan amount, 5% down payment, 4.875% 30 year fixed rate conventional mortgage, 680 FICO score required, $1005 P&I. 5.386% APR, PMI at 680 FICO is $107/mo. Sample FHA Loan Scenario: $200,000 purchase price, $196,378 loan amount including UFMIP, 3.5% down, 4.500% 30 year fixed FHA mortgage, 640 FICO score required, $995/mo P&I, Monthly MIP of $137/mo. 5.517% APR. Both Conventional and FHA monthly payments are required to include property taxes and homeowners insurance. Not all products are available in all states or for all amounts.
